I want to thank all my friends for celebrating my 20th Birthday with me. Thank you for the Birthday pic, rosettes, and comments that you left on my page.
It has been a big Birthday weekend at my house shared with my brofur Miko who turned 9 on 6/22. Mom and Dad have given both of us extra lovings all weekend.
Mom always tells me that my Birthday is extra special because I share it with my human Grandpa who passed away in 2007. Shortly after Mom bought her house, I showed up at her back door staving and looking for a home. Mom's Mom and Dad were visiting at the time and my Grandpa gave Mom the money to take me to the vets and make sure I was healthy. Since Mom did not know my real Birthday, just that I was about 3 years old, she thought it would be nice to have me share my Grandpa's Birthday since he help Mom to give me a forever home.
Thank you Grandpa and Happy Birthday.

Thank you my furriends for making my 19th Birthday so special by sharing with me. Mom says we will be very busy this weekend sending out personal thank yous as Miko and my Birthdays are just two days apart.
I spent most of my day napping as I am an older kitty and need my rest but I did come out and spend a little time with Mom and Dad. I also spent some time supervising the rest of the family. I have to teach that little Mokka guy where his place is in the family. He's just a little to fiesty for his own good sometimes.

Life around here has gotten pretty interesting in the last two months. Mom and Dad brought home two Dachshund puppies on April 28th. They are now 7 months old.
My new dog brothers are named Kaiser and Jaeger. Mom says that fits since they are of German decent and so is Dad.
It has taken us cats quite a while to get used to two very hyper puppies, but it seems to be calming down a little around here. Mom says we have our own private Circus around here.
The boys were outside dogs before they came here, so Mom and Dad have had to teach them to use the training pad or go to the bathroom outside, not to chew walls and cabinets, and the most important thing "Don't Chase Kitties!".
When the boys first arrived they thought it was really fun to chase the kitties (and they still do at times). I let them know right off that I wasn't playing that game. Jaeger came up to me like he was going to chase me and I stood my ground and growled at him just like a dog. He laid down and rolled over. You see, I may be 18 years old but I'm the Alpha Cat of the family. Now, I guess you could just say I am the Alpha of the family.
Now, this Alpha is going to take a nap while the younguns write in their diaries.
