Arrival Story:
My sister-in-law's father's cat had kittens, so my sister-in-law and my brother brought one of them over to my house on a "trial basis." (We all know how that works out!) Of course, now I don't know what I'd do without her.

Bio:
Abbie has followed me through two moves in the past ten years (I can't believe it's been that long). She was diagnosed with kidney disease in August of 2003, but she is still doing very well. She was also diagnosed with hyper-thyroid in September of 2005. Taking care of her requires more work now (she needs subcutaneous fluids 3 times a week and a pill for her hyperthyroidism each morning and evening), but she takes it all like a champ and is well worth it.
