Arrival Story:
I took a friend to the shelter to adopt a Boston Terrier. I had wanted a Siamese since I was in high school and a mean person poisoned my Siamese, Mr. Solo. While my friend looked at the dogs, I looked at the cats.~~~~~Oh, I could hear Mommy telling all the cats and kittens how pretty they all were! A little orange kitty almost had Mommy convinced to take him. He kept sticking his paw through the cage and tapping Mommy on the arm. He was even doing tricks. Thank goodness Mommy then stopped at my cage. "Oh!" Mommy said. "There you are waiting for me!" I was with another little Siamese. Mommy decided to bring us both home with her. The shelter people said we were sisters, but Mommy had her doubts about that. I only weigh one pound and am about 6 weeks old, and my "sister", Ling Ling, is about 8 weeks old and weighs two pounds. The vet confirmed our ages today when Mommy took us to be checked out. We both have feline herpes, worms, ear mites and ringworm. Benny, our Doxie brother loves us and wants to play, but our vet said to keep him separate until we are better. Mommy's big cat, Spirit, is afraid of us...MOL!~~~How things have changed since we came home with Mommy in August 2008. It is March of 2009 and we are so much better. Just think, in a couple of months we will be one year old. Thank God Mommy found us. We love to play with Spirit and Benny Dachshund.
