Arrival Story:
Oscar arrived October 6, 2008. We have been waiting for him for almost a year. We got him through a Breeder in New Jersey and it has been a looooong process. But he's here now and he's even cuter than we imagined. He's was a little shy at first but now he can't stand to be alone. He loves to be rubbed and nuzzled. He's purrfect in every way. love.

Vet Trip #2

October 15th 2008 8:49 am   [link to this entry]

I had to go to the vet again last night to follow up on my eye and mom had a whole list of questions. I think she's overreacting but at least she cares and loves me enough to make sure. So I have keep getting stuff squirted in my eye for another week AND now I have to take a nasty antibiotic. It's really gross and mom has to force it in my mouth. But the vet just wants to make sure I get all better - she heard the slightest little rasp in my lungs so she wants to nip this this in the bud before it gets any worse. The Revolution will kill the ear mites and the vet thought it may even be just dirt - definitely not yeast tho, whew. And she checked me out to see if my peeing on the carpet was physical, it's not. I'm just a freak and mom and the vet strategized on a plan to stop me. The vet thought I was the cutest ever, of course, she could hardly stand how adorable I am. Aside from the URI I'm a healthy little guy. Mom felt bad for me and gave me a BIG treat when we got home then she nuzzled me all night. I love her.

Overcoming Fears

October 14th 2008 9:42 am   [link to this entry]

So I finally went with mommy into the kitchen all by myself with no incentive. Mommy thought this was very brave of me and gave me lots of love. I think I will face my fears from now on and try to overcome them. Like this morning I didn't run away when I saw the ceiling fan on. I observed and then when I knew it was safe I jumped on the bed to see if I could attack it and make it succumb to my ways. It appears to be pretty high tho so I will have to figure something out. Must keep an eye on it in the meantime in case it tries to run away or get me. I've also decided the adorable kitty in the mirror is harmless. He doesn't attack me, eat my food or play with my toys, so I will let him be. Of course I will still try to play and attack him, that goes without saying.

Tonight is the last night of getting stuff squirted into my eye - thank god. And mommy is trying to build my immune system so I won't get sick again. I heard a rumor that she might try to take me to the vet again, we'll just see about that. Ha!

Also I have discovered a little yellow yarn ball that is magical, powerful, pretty, and must die. It's very resilient but I think I'm wearing it down. No matter tho, I have all the time in the world to consistently forge attacks.

mom is going crazy

October 9th 2008 8:58 am   [link to this entry]

My mom is so worried about me. She hates leaving me and hates having to put medicine in my eye. She's afraid I'm going to hurt myself or be lonely and scared. She thinks I have ear mites, feline herpes or a URI or a cold. She worries that I'm not warm enough and that I haven't pooped in two days and that I drink water like crazy (diabetes). Ahhhhh, I wish I could talk and tell her I'm fine. Sigh.
