Arrival Story:
Shallie Marie came to us as a kitten. She is a feral cat, and although we have had her for 10 years, she is very much a feral and doesn't allow anyone to touch her. She is a pretty little silver tabby with a beautiful white bib. She is tiny, but powerful. She used to be quite the "birder" in her younger days...but she doesn't do that anymore.

She used to bring alot of her boyfriends around, and they would stay for awhile even though we had trapped her and had her spayed. As she would lose one boyfriend, she would replace him with another. The boys just loved her!! (She is VERY pretty). Now I have a young mother cat(feral) named Fluffernutter who brings her beautiful little taffy and white fluffy kitten. Shallie really doesn't like to share her meals with them...they both eat EVERYTHING in sight and leave nothing for Shallie. She will wait till they leave and then cry for her own dinner...which she always gets!! She just MIGHT be a little bit spoiled like Chloe Louise!!

1. Meow! Are you a noisy kitty or a quiet kitty?
I am a very quiet kitty because I am an outside cat and I always need to be quiet so that I can sneak up on birds or hide from dogs and people.

2. Litterbox! Cover your business or let some other kitty cover?
I do not live indoors so I use the garden and make sure I cover it up...otherwise my people would be sooooo upset!!

3. Happy! Favorite Daily Routine?
My favorite daily routine is to roam the neighborhood and check up on all my cat friends.

4. Hiss! Least Favorite Routine?
I hate it when my people try to feed me from their hand...I don't like to get close to anyone so I try to ignore them! I am an outdoor feral cat!!

5. Ding-Dong! What do you think about visitors to your house?
Visitors?? NOPE...I skeedaddle!!

6. Friends! Do you like other animals? that is a delicate question! I ALWAYS have a boyfriend...and I bring him to my house at meal times. I always pick out a very handsome big boy cat....hmmmm....I LOVE my boys!!

Thank you for choosing Shallie's diary as the Diary of the Day(3/3/2011)...this is such an honor, especially for a little feral cat. Although Shallie was a member of my family since she was a kitten, she never allowed anyone to touch her and she never came in the house...she was feral all the way through! She did always come for her breakfast and dinner and spent her nap-time sleeping on my front porch in her many favorite spots. Unfortunately, one day, Shallie went strolling/hunting and never came back...I looked all over the neighborhood for her, but I have never found her. She is so deeply missed.
This is such an honor...Shallie must be so happy...thank you, Catster for choosing Shallie's diary.
