Arrival Story:
There was this stray cat that I was kind of looking after, you know making sure it was eating and everything. One day I noticed that it had kittens in the garage next to my house. When they were outside playing one day I told my boyfriend(husband now) that I wanted the long haired tiger striped one. Well, the people next door ended up moving but before they did they took the cat and her kittens to the so called "owner". I was so mad! A couple of weeks later this little kitten ended up on my porch. It was freezing cold that October night and we brought her in "just for the night". She is still living with us to this day. Actually since we moved to the country almost 3 years ago she has been living at my in-laws house. It is just down the lane but she does not like our house since the neighbors have several cats. She is happy over there!

Bio:
Peanut is a crazy cat. She is declawed but loves to catch mice. She will catch them and bring them to the driveway and just paw at them. She never eats them!

My new sister

Yesterday mommy did bring home a kitten. I really did not like that too much. She kind of stunk, she is pretty though. I went outside as soon as I could because Abbie and Tobey kept barking at her. That was driving me nuts.
My new sister's name is Cammi Isabell, daddy calls her Rouger though! He is nuts! Mommy is not for sure if she is using the litter box or not. Last night Cammi pooped on a magazine(mommy put her in the litter box as soon as she got in the door) mommy put the poop in her litter box. Mommy said that when she came home a minute ago she smelled poop in the utility room, like she had used it, but she is wondering if she did. She does not know what to do to get Cammi to use it if she is not yet!
Well, I am going to go back outside...bye for now

This morning when daddy left at 5 o'clock for work I decided that I was going to go ahead and go outside. Well, it was really cold and still is. I decided that I am going to stay outside today because it is going to get warmer and I have to know what is going on. Anyway I am kind of depressed.
Mommy told me this morning that she is thinking about adopting a kitten. My first thought was oh NO. But she told me that our animal shelter is really full right now with kittens and they are going to start "getting rid of them" if no one adopts some. So even though daddy will be mad at her she is going to adopt one. Mommy has a soft heart and if she thinks she can help an animal she does not care who gets mad at her. Daddy never stays mad at her long though, he really does love her. Even I can see that! Well I just hope she gets a cute one.
This is all I am going to write right now. Mommy is getting ready to leave and I want to go outside before she leaves and traps me in here. Bye bye

My story up until now

I first laid eyes on my mom when my siblings and I were playing on her rabbit cage on a sunny October afternoon. She seemed nice enough but I, as were my sibling, were very afraid of humans. I soon learned to like her though because every morning and evening she put food out for us to eat on her back steps. So we soon let her get a little closer to us. One day terror struck our world, the other humans took us to a new home and we did not know what to do. Soon we were old enough to venture out on our own. And so on October 18, 2003 I wound up on mommy's door step.
It was cold that night that I showed up on their door step. I remember I was real hungry and after a brief chase she brought me in. I gobbled that warm milk right up. It felt so nice to be warm. The first few days I was real weary of mommy and daddy but I soon came out of that when I discovered that they were the ones that fed me! We soon became the best of buds. I slept in a basket of blankets those first few nights...then it was in to mom and dad's bed.
Over the next few weeks I received toys, a collar, a vet. visit, flea medicine, and food of course. They decided that at 6 months I was to be spayed and declawed for my own safety.(with the declawing part) They had Buster when I first arrived. They said that they had gottne him in July 2003, he was my first real friend. He liked play too rough and when they got my sister Abbie in March 2004, he taught her to play to rough with kittens also. In June 2004, Buster was given to granny Patty to be a kind of watch dog. And so it was Abbie and I. Around this time is when I really started going outside a lot. I would go out when mommy and daddy left for work and would not come back in until they got him that night. This was only so I would have a soft place to sleep.
Abbie and I were the only ones inside until mommy and daddy decided to get another pug, a boy this time. So they got Tobey Joe in September. He is kind of cute but the same thing happened as it did when Abbie came along. Abbie taught Tobey Joe to be too rough with kittens just as Buster had taught her. And the cycle continued!
As of right now it is getting cold so I have been going outside during the day and then coming inside at night. It is really cold if I stay out there. Well until next time.
