Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, It's been so long since I wrote in the diary; here's the scoop:

Well, First off Liyan and I are good friends now; we play, chase each other(aka--destroy the house), and once-in-a-while we even cuddle on the couch. I even found him when he got lost in the snow storm----I guess it's (gulp) love. He's still not allowed to play with my toys though.

Also, we rescued 14(yes you read right)hamsters(mother and her newborns). Of course we still had the 3 previous rescued hamsters. Well, the office is now the hamster room(farm) so as you guessed it I am no longer allowed in the room. I still watch from the screen door though. Maybe one day I can play with one!!

And now we rescued 2 more baby kittens!!!!!!!!(I give up)They are small and annoying---I don't like them!!! Liyan loves them(traitor). He cuddles with them and plays with them. So I am not cuddling with anyone at the moment. I wish I could go outside---I need quiet time. HELP!!

Well, that's all for right now. Will keep you guys posted.

In TROUBLE---AGAIN!!!!

We have a problem!!!!!

Storm is starting to pee everywhere. She has never messed anywhere but the litterbox until now. Two days ago Storm peed in my bed---she sleeps in my bed and we've never had this happen. Then yesterday morning she peed on the floor again!!!! Her litterbox is in the same area, no changes at the house---Anyone have any ideas????? I'm not sure what's going on with her---any ideas or suggestions would be great.

I'm special!!!!!!!

Day without TROUBLEx2

Well, Storm and I had a day to ourselves--no babies--they were getting fixed.

She cuddled with me on the couch watching T.V. like she used to when she was baby. It was sooo sweet---I miss this side of Storm.
We also went outside and sat in the grass, she played and chased bugs. And the best part was she got to eat her food without the babies pushing her out of the way and eating her food.

Storm is now on adult cat food, no more kitten food, though she steals some of the kittens' food when she thinks I am not looking, but the babies eat her food too. Must be tough being a cat ;o)

Not a baby anymore :o(

Storm is now an adult cat and she knows it. She no longer cuddles like a she used to, she still sleeps in my bed. She still thinks she runs the house. But she has learned to use her claws nicely---she no longer play attacks your hands or feet. She's a lot calmer now, no more kitten energy---so I thought (kittens getting bigger)She's had a lot of adjusting to do over last few months.
First off, she has gotten used to people coming by and visiting the babies. She's warming up to people now instead of hissing at them.
Second, Tabby, her archenemy, has been adopted as well as three of the five babies. The two remaining babies are now 10 weeks old!!! So the last month has been going good for Storm. She has, though, grown attached to the remaining two babies, Thumper and Liyan. All three run around the house, climb curtains, and destroy the house from top to bottom. I am officially cleaning and straightening 24/7. Storm is also behaving like a kitten. She does what the babies do from running under things and hidding to trying to climb the curtains--though she's too heavy. She's also teaching them bad things, like climbing in the dryer and bathtub, and she doesn't listen anymore!!!! She's having tons of fun with them it's so cute, she was abandoned at 2 weeks so now she's learning to be a cat.
Third, she had to be dewormed---ugh!!! The babies had worms from their mother so all cats had to be dewormed. Hated every minute of it, but now they are worm-free. Well that's all from Storm's first year.

poor baby!!!!

Storm is not a happy camper :o(
She doesn't like all the new people that are coming to see the babies, she doesn't like Tabby getting additional attention, and she doesn't like the babies as they cry and she can't go into the room.
Poor baby has been having a lot of attitudes lately and behaving badly. She doesn't want to be held just wants to be outside. Maybe she will be ok when babies are adopted.

Unhappy Storm

Storm officially hates Tabby---the newly rescued cat. Anytime Tabby comes to sit on my lap, Storm throws a fit--hissing and growling until Tabby leaves. Also there is no sharing of Storm's toys. According to Storm everything belongs to her!!!!!! Oh, also we have babies, five of them!!!!!!!!!!! Four boys and one girl who were born last week from Tabby, more reasons Storm has to hate Tabby--lol.

Other than new family members, Storm is doing great, still growing, she's almost a year old--no more baby.

Storm's update

Well, It's been crazy busy, first chance to update on Storm.

Storm is now 10 months and weighs in at 9 pounds. She is still wild, playful, and very loving, oh did I mention spoiled rotten. She has been fixed---poor baby was miserable in the vets clinic, but jumping all over the place when we got home(no rest for this cat).
She also got her first bad booboo. She got into a broken glass window pane and cut her front leg open--no stitches just antibiotics, hated every minute of it. She officially hates vets!!!!!
She has also discovered the great outdoors, no more litter boxes for her(except when I'm at work) she goes outside. She has friends, 1) a little dog in the neighborhood, 2) a stray cat I rescued(i know I can't leave 'em). Yep you heard right Storm has a feral friend/sibling. This cat's a cutie, very sweet, probably dropped of by owner. He is the same age as Storm I guess. Well that's all right now. More updates later.

update on storm

Storm is now 3 1/2 months old and doing great. She has grown a lot since I rescued her at 2 weeks. She went from 7 oz to 2 lb and from fitting into the palm of my hand to barely fitting into my arms.
She is also as mean as a rattlesnake, but she has her sweet moments where she wants to be held like a baby and licks your face.
She loves when I come home from work, she waits anxiously in front of the door, and stands on her hind legs with arms reached up waiting letting you know she wants to be picked up and cuddled.
