Arrival Story:
I was working in the hotel when a guest approached me saying that she thinks that a cat is in the storm drain. I went outside and looked in the drain and there was a tiny kitten just screaming away. It was still raining due to hurricaine Hannah. The guest offered to go to the nearest open store (it was 11pm) and buy a fish net so that we could get her out of the drain. I stayed by the drain and soon noticed that water was filling up in the small pipe and that she would be washed away soon. I decided at this point to try and climb into the drain. A little while and two busted and bruised knees later I got her out of the drain. I set her up on the grass and climbed out of the drain. She was so wet, cold, and tiny. I wrapped her in a blanket from my car and held her until she fell asleep. The guest called while on the way to the store to see if I'd had any luck getting to her. I told them yes and to bring kitten formula as she appeared to be starving. I soon fed her with a kitten bottle and formula. I gave her a warm bath to clean her off and then wrapped and cuddled her til she fell asleep.

Bio:
I have now had her for 5 days. She is just starting to walk (wobble) around. She bottle feeds every 2 hours. She is most content in my arms. When she hears my voice she pops up her head as if she knows me.

In TROUBLE---AGAIN!!!!

We have a problem!!!!!

Storm is starting to pee everywhere. She has never messed anywhere but the litterbox until now. Two days ago Storm peed in my bed---she sleeps in my bed and we've never had this happen. Then yesterday morning she peed on the floor again!!!! Her litterbox is in the same area, no changes at the house---Anyone have any ideas????? I'm not sure what's going on with her---any ideas or suggestions would be great.

I'm special!!!!!!!

Hi all,

Thanks-a-bunch for all the gifts, just when I thought only the babies were special.

Thanks friends :o)

Day without TROUBLEx2

Well, Storm and I had a day to ourselves--no babies--they were getting fixed.

She cuddled with me on the couch watching T.V. like she used to when she was baby. It was sooo sweet---I miss this side of Storm.
We also went outside and sat in the grass, she played and chased bugs. And the best part was she got to eat her food without the babies pushing her out of the way and eating her food.

Storm is now on adult cat food, no more kitten food, though she steals some of the kittens' food when she thinks I am not looking, but the babies eat her food too. Must be tough being a cat ;o)
