Arrival Story:
I was feeling bad that my cat Smudge was home alone while I was at work. I contacted the people I adopted Smudge from and found out that he had a little sister that needed a home! Smudge accepted Sissel the moment I brought her home. They are the best of friends. She also has a great relationship with my dog Wesley, always attacking his big white paws or cleaning his head while he is sleeping!! Sissy is the sweetest girl on 4 paws . . .

Bio:
While her brother Smudge can eat all he wants and stay trim, poor Sissel seems to be getting a little" fluffy in the hips" after being spayed! Of course, she would insist that she it is just her full haircoat we are seeing--not fat!! She is named after the famous Norwegian singer Sissel. (Perhaps best known for her music in the movie Titanic.).

On Vacation Again!

Mom and my dog brothers are headed to the cabin--again!! They will be back in 1 week, so purr to you then! Thank you again to everyone who remembered me on my birthday. It was sure a fun day!! So glad to see that my friend Muppet is home too and that it looks like they found out was is causing her the pain. We hope she can have surgery again soon that will take the pain away . . .please keep her in your purrs.

Tomorrow is a big day for my good friend MUPPET and myself--we are celebrating our birthdays. Muppet will turn 3 years old. Muppet's mom thought I was going to be 6, even had my mom thinking that maybe I WAS going to be 6! Not so fast---I am only going to be 5 years old!! In cat years, one year is a big difference!!
While I will be just laying around here soaking up the sun, Muppet will be on her way here to California. She is still having some issues with her health and has an appointment on Monday with a specialist at the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine in Davis. Chances are she will be having another MRI. We are going to be purring for her and really hope they can help her as she so deserves to lead a painless and normal life. We hope you will join us in purring for her .
Thank you to everyone who has stopped by to wish me a Happy Birthday--I really do appreciate all the sweet pawmails and gifts I have received. Hope you are all having a great week-end!

My Clueless Brother!

My clueless brother Smudge just wrote a diary entry saying that wearing a bell on your collar is "green" because it protects the birds of the earth so we can't sneak upon them. Well Smudge, I have juse ONE word for you" "GRUMPY GOPHER"!!!!!!! How do we ever sneak up on Grumpy Gopher with a bell on!?!?!? Does anyone really want to protect gophers?? Why do I always have to be the smart one in the family?
