Arrival Story:
I was working a terrible 80-hour-a-week job at a design magazine, the kind where you bond with your coworkers like you're on the Titanic together. One of these kindly coworkers, a chronic animal rescuer/collector, told me a friend of hers had rescued a little orange cat with a funny flat face, but her big dog was afraid of it. I reluctantly offered to foster the cat while she was spayed and recovering. Well, on the second night, when she climbed into my bed and fell asleep holding my hand with her paw, I knew there was no way she was ever going to live anywhere else.
Bio:
Seven came from the mean streets of Brooklyn. She lived under the Prospect Park Expressway and plied her wares to any old tomcat that came around. She's celibate now, but still generous with her love. In a different, more socially acceptable, excessive-purring sort of way.
