Pet-Peeves:
Fenwick is a polite and dignified gentleman. He doesn't enjoy being picked up or carried (he'll come to you when he feels like it, durn it), and closed doors break his little furry heart.
Favorite Toy:
His giant scratching post. And oddly, he likes stick-like objects -- straws, pens, chopsticks. He likes knocking them off the tops of things. That and occasional wrestling are about the extent of his playfulness.

The middle of the floor, on his back.

Tuna "juice" from the can.

Arrival Story:
We adopted Fenwick a year ago from the Hinsdale Humane Society, incidentally the place where Morris the Cat of Nine Lives fame was discovered.
When we went to look at their kitties, we were picturing going home with a little gray shorthair kitten or something. After "interviewing" a number of felines of assorted variety, we ended up choosing the most gi-normous, freakishly hairy cat in the whole place.
And we're so thankful we did. We can't imagine a cat with a better personality. He's a perfect gentleman. We're thankful to the counselor who recommended him (he's the cat formerly known as Sterling).
