The Tumor Is BENIGN

Mom, Dad, Frankee, and Mama Wassi are dancing around the house! The tumor is BENIGN. It wasn't even a tumor. It was a growth caused by a sloppy injection when they gave me my vaccination before I was adopted!

I went to the vet yesterday and got my stitches taken out! 1 2 3... and the nasty stitches were removed! Didn't even hurt. Dr. Cody commented on how big I've grown in 10 days! Yep, I am bigger. I can wrestle my big brother Frankee and hold him in a head lock! I LOVE my Big Brother!! He never gets mean when we wrestle. We LOVE to "play fight". Mom and Dad say that we're both such good boys and pick us up to kiss us several times a day.

I love to suckle on Mom's little finger. I fall asleep with her finger in my mouth. She say's she's going to get me a "binky"! She also say's I might need braces later since I might end up with "buck teeth" since I suckle so much! Do they make braces for kitties?

Mom also say's since she knows I'm going to live forever, she will start using the spray bottle when I get on the counter or things I'm not supposed to be in. I don't like the spray bottle!

I AM glad that I'm going to live forever. Mom and Frankee need a "cuddle bunny" every day and night and I'm just the kitten for the job!

Diary Pick Of The Day!! WOW!!

Mom says I'm so special. Catster picked my for the Diary pick of the day! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! Mom says I'm a celebraty. WOW!

We're still waiting for the results of the biopsy. Daddy is stopping by the vet on his way home from work. The vet was super kind to let us make payments for the surgery. He really worked with us. Hopefully there will be good news!

I am all over the house at high speed. I discovered the cubby hole under the stairs behind the couch the other day. It's usually Mama Wassi's hiding spot since she is a grumpy old lady with the other kitties and hides there.

Mom says that I am just the sweetest little guy. I love waking Mom up by putting my front paws on her face and kneading. She always says Ouch. Yes I am such a lovebug but sometimes I will turn around and be completely independent. Yesterday I was playing with Frankee in the kitchen. Mom had left a brown paper sack with handles on the floor since we were having such a good time with it. The next thing I know it's stuck to me, so I run to Mom. The handle that my head was through broke though before I made it to her and she was laughing. I got all bushy tailed. Frankee just sat there watching the show. It didn't scare me much though, I went back and continued to play in it.

I'll post when I have the results back of my test. Thanks everyone for being concerned. I can't imagine going through this without all of you.

Already Feeling Better!!!

I'M HOME!!! I won't let Mom out of my site and have spent a LOT of time in her lap and around her neck. Daddy is a very mean bad man! He took me to the vet that did BAD things to me. Mom rescued me and I feel so much better.

I have a 3 inch suture in my leg. Dr. Cody said the tumor he removed was wrapped around my tendons. He did a great job removing it, I'm jumping and playing after the anesthesia left my system. It hurts Mom more than it does me when she sees me jump. She makes really weird faces. I don't even have a limp! The best news is, Doctor Cody thinks the tumor is benign. Since he's been a vet for over 40 years, I'm going to believe that. We get the test results back at the end of the week.

Well, Mom says I have to calm down and go to bed so I can heal. She says I'll feel even better tomorrow. I've gotta tell everyone, I'm not looking forward to the 25th when I have my sutures removed. I just hope they don't take my temperature again. That's worse than surgery! I'll just lay my ears flat and scare everyone again!

I Made It Through Surgery, Now The Biopsy

I've had a rough start with my new home. First I got a respritory infection. I sneezed and coughed for a week and had to take medicine. I also developed a tumor that grew quite large over the week I was recovering from my "kitty cold". This morning I went in for surgery. The vet's receptionist told Mom that everything went well and I am resting. We now have to wait for the biopsy results of the tumor that was removed. I just want to get well and stay well. I love my new family so much and just want to be a normal, healthy kitten.

Please Pray For Me

The 4th day in my new home Mom was petting me and found a lump in my thigh. It is growing larger each day. I've also developed an upper respritory infection. Since Mom and Dad noticed I was sick so soon, our Vet was very relieved. I'll finish my medication on Wednesday. I will then have the lump removed. The Doctor will look at it to decide if it is benign or malignant. Big Brother Frankee will stay with me at the hospital so I won't be so scared.

Mom and Dad are asking everyone to Pray for me. They love me SOOO much and I Love them SOOO much. I'm laying on Moms lap right now. I want to stay with them forever and big brother Frankee.

The Trouble With Feathers

Mom bought Grandma a feather boa for her pageant this weekend (Ms. Senior Oklahoma). She left it in a bag on the counter. Frankee told me that everything on the counter is ours. So we got the bag down and took the boa out. Boy did we have fun!! Mom came down in the middle of the night and in the dark she thought all of the feathers were black cockroaches! It really scarred her. Then Dad came down and thought the same thing. It was sooooo funny!

This is my 4th day at my new home. I LOVE it here. I have a new Mama cat that cleans me when I sleep. I have a GREAT Big Brother! We play and play and play! I LOVE my Mom and sleep with her every night. I snuggle, cuddle, and kiss her when we go to bed. I also like to sleep in her lap when I wear myself out playing with Frankee.

Next week Moms taking me to the nursing home. She says there are so many people there that want to meet me. I can't wait to lay on all their laps and purr. I'll write more after I visit them.
