Arrival Story:
One day out of the blue, Buttons showed up at our door. We started feeding her and she started coming into our yard and made friends with our dog Texxy (mix border collie). At that time, my mom had gone into a nursing home and Texxy was alone in the house. We saw that the dog was really good with Buttons which we named her because of the brown dot on her nose and we decided to take her in. It was a perfect match both of them became fast friends. The vet told me she was neutered and around 6 years old. She was my first cat in the household and I never regretted the decision to this day.

She a very good cat, accepts other animals in the home. She like my watchdog cat and makes sure everything is order around the house. Since Texxy's death she has taken over ar the watchcat.

On June 10, 2014 I had to put down my beautiful girl. She had cancer on her leg and do to her age, I felt she was too old to be operated on plus she had other issues. She licked my fingers while I was holding her and was there when she passed on. She cbanged my opinion on cats when she walked into my life and will miss her so much. She is now in a better place and always in my heart.
