Priscilla is not mine, although I did send money to the shelter to sponsor her. She and her brother were found by the side of a road and turned over to the shelter by a good samaritan. The little boy had maggots, and the best, most loving efforts of Cathy and Cynthia couldn't save him.
Little Priscilla, though, is a fighter; when she was taken to the vet, he estimated her age at a mere three weeks, and she weighed "all" of 7 ounces! Cathy, whose love for the cats doesn't know any boundaries, made sure that Frosty was kept warm, and Cathy fed her every 3 hours around the clock. When Cathy had to travel 2 hours to a hospital for tests, Priscilla went along so that she wouldn't miss a feeding, Cathy's husband taking over while Cathy was having her tests.
Cathy's love paid off, and Priscilla started, at 2 months old, eating on her own and using the litterbox. Cathy, understandably, didn't want Priscilla to go far - and she didn't! Cynthia, the volunteer who gives so much to the shelter and gave to Priscilla, adopted her; Priscilla has her furever family!
