My Birthday...and Ghost

Today is my Birthday. Mommy isn't really sure how old i am. she is just guessing my age. Mommy has been singing Happy Birthday to me all morning. Mommy said that tonight i get a special treat that Babyboy and Ghost don't get. i can't wait :)
It has been almost a month now that mommy brought home Ghost. Mommy feeds several feral cats every night and Ghost was one of them. Mommy started off fostering Ghost but the coalition was too full and no one would take her. I DON'T LIKE GHOST! SHE IS A PEST. AND TAKES MY PLAYTIME AWAY FROM ME. plus now Babyboy don't chase me as much. even though he can be annoying too. i liked it when Babyboy would chase me. But now he is too too busy with the kitten. He mothers Ghost. Ghost has been trying to BE-FRIEND me. at first i wanted NOTHING TO DO WITH HER. now i tolerate her. Ghost crawls in bed with me and mommy. so now at night i started running around the house trying to get mommy's attention, crying at her. i never cried the whole year i have lived here till now. i bring mommy my toys in the middle of the night when she is sleeping. she use to wake up but now she is sleeping with ear plugs and can't hear me. so not fare! i like sniffing Ghost in the butt however I still growl at her. As of yesterday Ghost started hissing back at me. I guess i have to put up with her! but mommy still makes time for one on one play time. I AM HAPPY FOR THAT!

Love my Freedom...

I love to roam the house. It's such Freedom from being locked in one room. I now sleep with the human mommy cause my teenage boy isn't around so much anymore. I love to follow her all around the house everyday. And like clock work every night at 10pm I race to mommy's room to wait for her to come to bed so we can play. She turns off the lights and she plays with the laser light with me. It's so much fun. Sometimes I have to wait for her to turn the T.V. off but I don't mind. She plays with me until she falls asleep and sometimes that's a long time of play. When I first moved in with my new family I was out out of shape and would pant with only a few minutes of play. but now I lost maybe 1-2 lbs and can play for a long time and never pant or have problems breathing. Mommy makes sure I get my exersise everyday with running and jumping around the house. And after mommy goes to sleep I run out of the room to tease the other cat "Babyboy". That's fun too. When I am done making him mad and getting him in trouble then I go back to mommy's room and climb in bed with her and go to sleep.

What's going on????????

Last night I pee'd in the kitchen sink. apparently it was the wrong color and mommy was concerned. it looked like there was blood in my urine. and it didn't help that i kept getting in and out of the cat box without actually going potty. so that made mommy start watching me. everytime i went to the potty box mommy would scare me so that i wouldn't cover my potty. but thing was, I didn't potty. I was in and out of the box 5 times before i could actually potty. I WAS JUST CONSTIPATED. But mommy watched and watched. It was scary. I thought I was getting in trouble for going in the cat box so much. but it just turned out to be that mommy was just making sure i was ok.

Having fun...

Wow! I didn't know being a cat was this much fun. I was never really aloud to do much until I moved in with my new family. I love to play with all the rugs in the house. When the mommy wakes and comes out of the room all the rugs are messed up. and there is at least 5 rugs that I play with. I also Love to play in blankets. I play peek-a-boo with the mommy. And I also love to pose for pictures. The mommy is always taking my pictures. She said I'm such a smart cat. She also said I am smarter than most humans too. She'll tell me it's bed time and I'll run to her room and get in bed. Mommy will say "muffin time to eat" and I'll come running. Anything mommy asks me to do...I do it.
I also like to get the other cat "babyboy" in trouble. I'll chase him till he turns around and chases me...then I'll have a fit and mommy will make him stop. Ha Ha Ha...so much fun. Mommy plays with me all the time. I am aloud to get on the beds, and follow her to the bathroom and do things I was never aloud to do until now. Mommy has been trying to get me to sit on her lap...but I'm still not so sure of that yet. But I do love up to her now. and in the morning when babyboy is biting mommy to wake up, I will lick her to wake her. I love my home! And I never want to leave.

That other cat...

Wow! I have lived with my new family for almost 5 months now. I was in the teenagers room for the first 3 months. Then was let out more often to be welcomed to the rest of my new home. There is another cat here named Babyboy. Of course he is Male! He has a lot of patience with me on letting me do my own thing and not rushing me to be friends. But lately he has been wanting to play with me and i really don't want to play with him. I love to play with all my new toys and with the human family but am not interested in playing with the other cat! I came from a home that didn't feed me right and never gave me toys to play with. I never knew what it was like to be a real family cat. I am not much on loving or getting love and attention but am learning to like it. My new family insists on loving me and kissing on me and i am slowly learning that it is ok to be loved that way. but lately that other cat babyboy has been getting on my nerves! every morning the human mommy lets me out of the room for the day and that cat is usually waiting at my door. I hiss, growl and snort at him but he don't take no for an answer. and the last few days he's really been on me to play with him. so much that even when i attack him he still comes at me and then sometimes attacks me back. but then the mommy gets in between us. I think that cat thinks it is time to mate. but we both are fixed and i want nothing to do with it. He will just have to learn! I have learned so much on how to be a cat. I learned that it is ok to jump, run and even learned how to pounce. these are things i wasn't really aloud to do with my last family. My new family even lets me on their furniture and beds. And i don't get kicked out of my home if i throw up and i don't get yelled at or punished for being a cat! I LOVE MY NEW HOME AND I AM VERY HAPPY NOW!

Adjusting to my new home

Well it has been 10 days now since I was welcomed into my new home. I have had the flea treatment on for 5 days now. I have a routine as well as knowing my new human mommy's routine. I get my boy up every morning now at 6am for school, then I wait for human mommy to come in with morning treats (can food), then at the same time every day the human mommy takes me to the bathroom while she vacuums my mess in the room. But today I decited I didn't want to be in the bathroom and broke out! Boy was I ever so scared. mommy noticed that I wasn't in the bathroom and went to get me but I ran thru her feet and to my room. mommy wasn't done vacuuming and told me that she is gonna finish whether I was in the room or not. So I of course stayed on the bed hissing at the vacuum until it left my room! Mommy takes me out of the room everyday and shows me the other cat babyboy while he is sleeping. I did manage to meet him face to face and it scared me so i hissed at him. He didn't hiss back. Mommy said babyboy seems to be ok with me being here in his home. I just would much rather stay in my room. I know that I am safe in my room and I know that my room is my new territory and the rest of the house is babyboy's territory. I love have visiters in my room when the boy is at school or gone. We have a neighbor girl that comes to play with us everyday after school. I love to play. Mommy comes in during the evening when it cools off to play with me. she said i need the exersise every day cause i am a bit over weight and she wants me to be healthy. She told me her last kitty "Littlegirl" who looks just like me died of a heart attack cause she was over weight and she doesn't want that to happen to me. Of course mommy visits me several times a day in the room to give me love and attention. but it has been so hot during the day to play. I tend to pant a lot when I play. mommy said that has to do with my weight too. But i look forward to playing in the evening and her loves during the day. And when no one is around, I have toys of my own i like to play with and chase around the room.
I am so happy to have a new family who loves me!

New Home

As of August 26th, 2008 I moved in with my new family. I stay in my human boys room for now. The human mommy told me that I need to have my flea treatment before introducing me to the other house cat babyboy. I am very content in my new home. I don't understand why I had to move but I do love my human boy a lot. I still am a little nervous at times and potty a lot in my kitty box but with time I am sure I'll get more comfortable in my new home.
This is the third time I've been sent away to live with someone new. I hope that this will be the last time I have to adjust to a new family.
