Arrival Story:
Two feral cats that we'd been feeding brought their litters into our yard. I couldn't bear the thought of letting them grow up feral as well, so I kitten-napped them. After bottle-feeding, weaning, and neutering SEVEN kittens, I found homes for four of them and the remaining three stayed with us. Velcro was one of a litter of five, born to Sister Pete (a feral) who we believe is actually one of Loki's littermates.

Bio:
Velcro is our gentle giant. He's the largest and heaviest of the kitties, yet he's no bully. The only time he gets aggressive is after L.B. picks on him, then he goes and picks on Bailey. Velcro was so named because when he was a kitten, he'd wrap all four legs around the bottle and your hand and not let go. He also used to get a running start to jump up and climb the bathrobe hanging from the bathroom door. Poor Velcro has terrible allergies. We don't know the exact cause, but we hope he's not allergic to the other cats! Occasionally, his allergies are so bad we have to give him Benedryl, which he HATES.
