Arrival Story:
My husband and I were having a house built. One night when we went to see the progress, this kitten was outside meowing at us. We sat down and waited while the kitten made ever-decreasing circles around us, until he finally came up and let us pet him. He was very sweet and friendly, so we took him home, cleaned him, fed him, then took him to the vet the next day. Then we decided to keep him.
When we found Loki, he was about 2 months old and his tail had been severed somehow. A few months later, we had to have more of it surgically removed because the stump wasn't healing properly.
Bio:
Loki was originally named Styn, after Halcyon Styn. Loki even had his own web site, modeled after Halcyon's, called Cocky Kitty.
