She came from the Human Society, only a few weeks old. We didn't realize her bib was white until we got her cleaned up. She was so dirty that it looked grey. We got her as a companion to our cat, Caesar, who is now deceased. I'll never forget my Callie Cat, she had the sweetest disposition and was my baby. Love you honey with all my heart.
February 21, 2006 - Callie became so sick this week and had been losing weight. The vet said she had many problems and medicine might help but with her age, probably wouldn't. As much as we hated to let her go, it seemed it was the best thing to do for her. She died very quietly and didn't make a fuss. I kissed her and held her so that she wouldn't be too scared. She will be with Caesar now to wash his head like she used to when he was here.
Bio:
Callie was just a kitten when she came to live with us. Caesar was full grown and very much the head of the household and she acknowledged that fact. Over the years, she would try to wash him and he would tolerate it for a while then he'd swat her and walk away. In his final years, he would allow her to wash his head and neck as much as she wanted to and would ask for more. They became like an old married couple. After he died, she missed him terribly and still occasionally 'calls' for him at night. She is a quiet, gentle and lovable cat.
