Shadow fetches well, and brings the object back and puts it at your feet. Sheba loves to be loved on.

Arrival Story:
After suffering the loss of Natasha Louise in March, we didn't want to get another cat right away. My husband and I went to the Humane shelter in Nashville and saw two little 12 week old black kittens that were sisters, and our hearts told us that we needed to give them a wonderful loving home. The first picture is Shadow and Sheba as they looked when we first brought them home. The other pictures will tell you how they/we adapted!
Bio:
Shadow is the smaller of the two cats; she has a white spot on her breastbone. She is also leaner and her face is more slender, and more inquisitive and aggressive. Shadow disappears when people come to visit. Sheba is more easily spooked but is larger and fluffier. She has a couple of white hairs on her breast bone. Her face is full and wider than Shadow's. Sheba will come and see who is visiting and accept pats and a rub. Both are very sweet and are very good girls.
They had a bit of an adjustment to make with the addition of Sam in November 2005 and O'Malley in December 2005, but they both have done really well. Shadow still rules the roost!

We were being treated so well...kitty treats every day, lots of love and attention, and they even played with us all the time, which was really great! Then they decided they wanted to go on vacation, which meant they boarded us for an entire 6 days at some awful place. There were so many other cat smells around that we forgot we were sisters and started slapping each other. They finally had to separate us after a day. In separate cages were bored and miserable. Neither one of us ate much and lost some weight. When the attendants came to feed us, we didn't know who they were and growled and spat and just were miserable.
When mom and dad finally came to get us, the attendant asked if they would get us out of our cages because they knew we didn't like them (the attendants) or this terrible place we were in.
We have been back home for three days now, and we are back to our happy selves and our normal habits. Mom, dad - don't leave us at that awful place again. You can even call that other person you hug and kiss and he can bring all of his short people with him to babysit, but PLEASE don't leave us at that bad place again. We were soooo upset.
