All Dressed Up And Nowhere To Go.

I've Been Busy!

Sorry I haven't updated lately, you guys. Things have been completely crazy around here! It's getting way cold, and things mommy calls "leaves" are blowing all around! I like to chase them when grandpa takes me out in the yard! =D I get crazy rambunctious after I get my "fresh air" though, so I'm limited to my adventures, MOL!

Mommy says that in a month I'll be going to the vet's, and I'll have to stay there overnight!? I don't think that I like that idea. But mommy says that it's necessary, and that it wasn't, she wouldn't be doing it. I don't know what this is all about, but I don't like the sound of it.

Other than that, nothing is really going on. Mommy leaves me here with grandma and grandpa during the weekends; she goes up and visits daddy. He can't come and visit me because he has work where he lives, which is a far way away. But soon we'll all be living together, and I'll get to see daddy everyday! I'm very excited for that.

Well, I've got to be going. It's bed time. I just wanted to make a quick update so ya'll don't think I've gone and disappeared!

Labor Day Stunk!

Well Labor Day has come and gone. What is Labor Day anyway? All I know is that my mom was gone ALL WEEKEND! and, on top of that, a bunch of big, noisy humans were running around in my house! I couldn't get any peace and quiet, no naps for me! There was some crazy terror running around, my mom says he's my "cousin". Bah. He pulled on my tail and chased me! It was NOT fun, I'll tell ya.

Well, my mommy finally came home on Monday night, after all those humans left. I was mad at her for a little bit for leaving me all weekend, but I was way too excited when she got home. I purred and rubbed and kissed her all over! Oh, and she gave me some new toys! They're great! Two fuzzy balls with big fluffy feathers, and a little sheep that's filled up with that good-smelling stuff. [catnip, i think mom said it was?] anywho, they're all really fun to play with!

Oh, something sad. Mommy said that daddy got a new job up where he lives, and he'll be working all weekends, and so I'm not going to see him AT ALL! Not until we live together in January, atleast. That makes me really sad! Daddy is the one who bought me those toys, by the way. He spoils me! But so I'm probably not going to see daddy for awhile. Mommy says not until "the holidays". I wonder what that is? Mom gets excited when she talks about it, and sometimes she goes away and comes back with things - she calls them "presents". I'm not allowed to touch them. I don't think that I'm going to like these "holidays" if it means that I can't touch things. Oh well.

Mommy is taking a nap, and I think I'm going to join her!

A Place With Mommy & Daddy!

Right now, Mommy and I live with Nana, Pop-Pop and my uncles Toby and Tigger. [my uncles are both furry - like me!]

Mommy says that Daddy will be transferring to a college near here in January, and when he does we'll all live together! I'm really excited for that; I miss my Daddy when he's not around.

I'm very excited; I can't wait! Mommy says that the new apartment will be a big, new place to explore. I like to explore new things! She says that I'll have "the run of the house". I'm gonna be the king of that place, I'll tell ya! No more big stinky uncles to bite me. And I can play with all of the toys - I don't have to share! I'm excited for that.

Well, I'm gonna go now. Nap time!
