Sad News

Dad got the call today from his parents that they had to put their cat, Gus, down yesterday due to advanced FIP. We're very sad around here but we knew it was coming. They said they had to wait 6 weeks or more before getting new kitties to be sure the virus is gone. Dad wouldn't mind if they scrubbed a few areas with bleach and water first to help. Dad hopes that if they adopt again they will have adult cats. They're getting old and any new cats may outlast them so they'd come live with us, but adopting adult cats may keep that from happening. Besides, adult cats like to sit around more and be held, like Sarge did.

Purrs for Gus, the rainbow bridge just got a grumpy old cat who likes to hang out with people. :)

sending lots of purrrs to your dad and his pawrents so sorry for your loss. Adult kitties need loving homes and we think it would be great ideal hope your grand pawerents think so too.

We're taking good care of Gus up here at the bridge. Sending comforting purrs to Gus' family!
