My birthday was yesterday. Daddy would have posted but he slept wrong and his back was hurting. I did get some yummy food and holding time while Daddy watched movies in the easy chair. My ears are getting better. But there's still the rest of this week to go before the medicine stops. I'm supposed to get them twice a day but I was able to avoid it a few mornings. I just KNOW when Daddy is trying to pick me up so I run away. We fought a few times so I'd take my medicine, but I think I've forgiven him.

Thanks to all who sent me birthday wishes. My birth and kittenhood were in horrible circumstances that still haunt me today. I'm still so skittish that I run to the basement when I hear a sudden loud noise. But I love people and hanging around when Daddy's friends come over. I love chewing on string even though it's bad for me. I love having a furever home with all the food, water, and affection I want. All kitties should be this lucky.
