new toy

well the toy is not mine, it is of my mommy, but every time she takes it out I just can stop from looking at it.
It all started the day mommy cam back home with this stange blue fuzzy long thing. I saw it and didnt pay much atention until she started moving it thats when it got fun, I stated looking at it and I jump but it moved away so I tride again, and again and again it was no use the blue thing was to smart, so I went to my bed and continue my peacful nap.

hi I (human) am gonna be updating Michis entries now that my sister went to Canada.

this is my last entry on this account for a year. I (the human) will be leaving for canada tomorrow morning where I'll study for a year and michis will remain behind with the rest of my family. from now on , my sister will be in charge of this account and she will be the author of all future entries. I'm sad to leave michis but I know she gets more than enougb loving by my parents and sister and they'll take wonderful care of her.

new collar!

my mommy's cousin can do some knitting and stuff , and she made a collar for her dog , luna. mommy saw it and fell in love with it , since it's so cute and very different from a pet store collar , homemade and personalized , elegant and very feminine. She had her cousin make one for me and for that stupid mutt , jingle bells. mine is pink with purple trima dn a purple rose on it. it arrived today. it'svery pretty , but also delicate and mommy says it's a "special ocasion" collar. I'll get some pics of it up soon.

Hissssssssss

grrrr diary I'm so mad! This morning, as I was enjoying my peaceful nap in my cardboard box , the door was opened and mommy's cousin came in. This was not a surprise. She's the owner of that horrid dog and she comes here very often. the dog doesn't , thank goodness. soon however , I realized something was wrong. mommy and everyone else was cooing over a shockingly familiar box of doom (aka carrier) and something was sticking its head out of it. The carrier was MINE and even more infuriating was the strange cat that was sitting in it!! It was a black and white fur ball , about 5 months old. I was beyond upset!This cat in my house , and arriving in my carrier!! I crept up to the little intruder and hissed at it to make it clear that it was on my turf and that it better get out. The kitten stared at me vacantly. It was obviously not getting the message. Another hiss didn't do much good. It pranced around my house all morning , sniffing everything. I'd already been scolded for hissing at it , so I contented myself to watch its every move quietly. When it went near a bg of grandpa's clothes (which i love to lay on) , I put my paw down. It was not laying in my grandpa's clothes. I hissed , louder and it finally seemed to get the message. It followed me around in evident fascination , as though it had never seen another cat before. I wondered wether this cat's mother had ever taught it manners. Then the truth hit me. This cat lived with the nasty dog. Therefore , it was the dog that had raised it. No wonder it didn't behave according to feline etiquette! I felt pity for it. It didn't even seem to know what a hiss meant. The strange cat wandered around my house all morning and in the afternoon , it left , finally! it was not a good visit , that's all I can say.

sick...again.

well I've just gotten over a nasty bout of constipation that had me throwing up for days! I was taken into the vet's and prodded and poked until I peed righ there and then (how embarrasing). then a hose was stuck up my you know what and some needles too! needless to say I was feeling horrible at that point and it did not help when i heard the vet say that I would need to take 3 different medicines for the following 5 days. aaaaarg. so , from then on , 3 times a day , mommy and grandma would ambush me and forcefully make me swallow the medicines I detest. It was a horrible time , but the medicines worked , my tummy stopped hurting. so now , I'm back to normal , and reciving lots of love for being sick all that time :) purrs,

all alone :(

mommy went to spend the weekend at a family member's house in another city and left me all alone :( she even took that fluffy rat, pumpkin to stay at her cousin's house while she was gone , leaving me all alone at home and without the rat for entertainment. her cousin came and fed me , of course , and to add insult to injury she also fed those nasty outdoor cats of mommy's too. they're back now of course , and I'm feeling much better , but it was a depressing weekend for me. mommy saw cats where she was , too , she took her cousin's kitten to the vet and all , but no cat can replace me! she felt really sad though , because the vet runs a shelter service for cats and there were a bunch of fluffy kittens waiting for homes (the kitten she took in had been adopted from there) and a huge fluffy orange tabby and white cat. the cat was huge , much bigger than me , and very pretty , she says it looked like and exotic , a shorthaired persian , and it had big , sad orange eyes and was mostly white with orange patches. it was crouched at the back of the room and ignored mommy , while the kittens ran up to be petted. mommy spent the whole time watching it and it went to the litterbox like every 2 minutes and pawed at the air after it was done , and also seemed to have a problem in it's eye. it was obviously an overweight , although gorgeous and very unhappy kitty , with health problems. she asked the staff about it , it didn't even have a name , and they said a nun had come in to drop it off 4 months previously. one of the employees caught it when mommy requested it and it was very skittish and obviously didn't like being held , the guy said it scratched. mommy stroked it but didn't dare hold it because it was so huge and she was scared it would escape. the vet said it was free to a good home. mommy was soooo tempted to take that kitty and chase the sad look out of its eyes but she knew she couldn't and it broke her heart to leave it there, when it was so obviously unhappy. she never even found out if it was male or female. I don't think I would have enjoyed having another cat , much less one several times bigger than me , coming here and taking over my house , but I can sympathize. I felt sad , too, when the humans left this weekend but at least I knew that wouldn't last forever.

great huntress and box love!

yesterday I was with auntie in the study, while she was in the computer and huge brown moth appeared and started flying around. auntie freaked out and ran away , but I chased it eagerly. the bug flapped around the light bulb and it was hard to reach it , but everytime it went down to the ground , I tore off a piece of its wings. after a while , it stayed still on the ground. by that time , we (the bug and I) were in the kitchen. auntie thought it was dead and touched it , and it started flying around again. she ran away again and I jumped on the counters and stuff to catch it. After an hour or so , I killed it , and displayed it in the kliving room , priudly. mommy and auntie were upset because they said I took too long , and there were bits of its wings everywhere, but they didn't kill it , sot hey cant say anything! it was the most fun I've had in years! and also , lately I've developed a fondness for a tiny casrdboard box grandma left out one dya. I play with it , and the sides are all shredded , but the funny thing is I sleep in it , too. Its so small , I have to twist myself into the weirdest shapes to fit , but I like sleeping in my box!

aloof girl

hehe a few days ago one of mommy's cousins was over and she thinks I'm cute (who doesn't?) and she always tries to pet me and win me over with treats and stuff , then she's disapointed because I disregard her.she has a dog , and her dog loves everyone and I think she wants me to be the same way. mommy thinks it's very funny because I'm always so aloof with anyone that's not my family , and I avoid other people as much as I can. So , all the humans were eating lunch , and I smelled sausages and I went over to mommy's chair to meow and demand some sausages. The cousin eagerly offered me a piece , she knows I love sausage. I spent more time sniffing her hand than the sausage and finally didn't eat it. Mommy says I could catch a trace of dog scent on her hands or something like that. To make her feel better, mommy said " maybe she's not hungry". Her cousin gave her the piece and she offered it to me , and I took it at once and came back for more. They were all laughing and mommy said I was very well trained to not accept treats from strangers , MOL. later that day, mommy was on the sofa and she called me over , and stroked me. I went on my way and the cousin reached out to try and pet me as well , but I ran away as soon as I saw her hand coming for me! mommy says my actitude is why some people don't like me , including her best friend , they think I'm " snooty" . I live in a world of dog loving people that expect me to slather affection all over them like those nasty creatures. No way! I , unlike dogs , and some humans , have a little something called DIGNITY.
