Likes: her people, "her" quilt, hunting and food.
Pet-Peeves: getting wet (no surprise there) being picked up when she doesn't ask for it , other cats , dogs ,any food that isnt fresh (this applies to meat and bread products, she wont eat them if they are from the day before or were previously frozen)
Favorite Toy: Those rubber bouncy balls u get in gum machines. lol, we dont know why , but she just likes them better than anything we've ever bought her.
Favorite Nap Spot: Anywhere we dont want her to! lol, no really, all the beds in the house except hers and the couch. also on the shelf above the computer, the computer chair and her stool by the window.
Favorite Food: Powdered Milk , Pear Cheese , gelatina blanca, Arequipe (which is a type of typical sweet from my country, it is kind of like caramel cream), Fresh raw chicken, Fresh Pandebonos (a type of bread w/ cheese in it from my country), and Meowmores treats.
Skills: She is an excellent bird hunter and she goes for "walks" following us like a little dog around the neighborhood , she can also hear a tuna can being opened from the other side of the house in a deep sleep, :)

Arrival Story: My family and I had just moved from raliegh , nc to colombia and my sister and I were pretty bored. We had always wanted a dog , and we were supposed to get one in colombia , but my parents said the apartment was too small. At the time, michis was a stray in our neighborhood. Having always loved animals, my sister and I began feeding her . Before long , we were hooked. My parents did'nt want a cat , but she soon won them over with her charm , lol. anyway , she still wasnt our oficial pet , she lived outdoors, etc, but all that changed when we found out she was pregnant. She began spending more and more time indoors and one rainy night , she was inside and she decided to give birth on the floor in my sister's room. She had four kittens , Pepper, Princess Kitty , Twinkle and Dot. They were all very healthy , thank goodness. When they were old enpugh we gave them away and promptly got michis spayed. She has been with us ever since and encriched our lives so much , I wonder how we ever got along without her , or without any cat , as matter of fact. lol. She is now the queen of the house , my parents love her to bits , and we are extremely glad to have her with us.

ug diary guess what? today is mommy's bday and there are a lot of people coming to our house...how disagreable. I only hope they don't bring that huge yellow DOG over here again, bc if they do , I'm leaving the house., All my fave nap spots (sofa , side table , stool , etc) have been cleared away from the living room and there a tons of horrid ballons all over the floor. I always think balloons are going to attack me or something. mommy says I'm silly , but I know those things are evil. parties in general are not my cup of tea. too many people and too much noise! well diary , I'm off to sulk under someone's bed for the rest of the day , until everything gets back to normal.
today I went to see the kittens again. i felt kinda guilty bc I hadn't been over there in such a long time , but I had a party on friday and the kitten's den is crawling in fleas that leave flea bites all over me. Since I didn't want to be all flea bitten on the night of the party , I stopped going to see the kittens a few days before the party , so there were no flea bites. but I went today and slathered on bug spray. It seems to have worked. In just a few days , the y are running all over , hyper and crazy and are much more playful. They are kinda shy right now since I hadn't gone to see them lately , but the tabby is still the lil spitfire he's always been and although the other 2 (the blk and white and the tabby and white) are more skittish than they were , they still approach me. The black one sulked around as usual and didn't come close and the other tabby was missing. Tigger decided her babies were safe enough with their sitter (me!) and left while I was with them. I fed them all and also spent some quality time with Milky and Zorro , since I've been ignoring them lately bc of the kittens.
the kittens are really progressing in the 'socialization department". Today I took the, some cooked meat (they don't eat raw) and some raw for their mom , and made them take it from my fingers to eat it. All of them did this very well , expect 2. The lighter tabby-he's actually one of the most social , but wasn't hungry for some reason , and the black one which is still pretty scared. the others ate a lot. Especialy the darker tabby-he's so cute! When I come in , all the others run and hide but he just stays there and he's the first one on my lap demanding food. He swats at me with his paws and hisses whenever he thinks its been too long without a piece of meat. While the others creep closer warily and swat at my hands , he is sitting on my knee , looking down at all his siblings with a" you are soo stupid! this thing is harmless!"kinda look on his face. He sits there , on my knee and watches me feed the others very seriously. The other tabby and the tabby and white get on my lap too-but for shorter periods of time and only when I tempt them with some food. The lil'tabby is on my lap always. Today I was wearing a blouse with some string thingies hanging from it and you can imagine how they all took turns to play with that! they loved it. They also use my jeans (I wear my oldest pair to go see them , old shoes and heavy socks, too) as scratching posts and play "king of the hill"with my sneakers. The three boldest ones do this and the black and white one plays with a feather toy from afar , as he's not that brave yet. The black one watches mystified from under a car , wondering why any of his sibs would approach me. Sometimes he does come in close , but sits behind me and while he thinks i'm not looking , sniffs at my clothes and tentatively bats at my jeans. as soon as he's realizes I know he's there however , he takes off under a car. At one point I had 3 of them on me-on my lap , my sneakers , trying to climb up my back , while I tried to feed the other 2. Zorro appeared too , and he hates the kittens. I think he's jelous. He hisses at them and scares them and when he left , it was a long time before any ofthem would come out again. He's intact , so i guess that's why he hates the kittens and Milky (who's neutered) doesn't mind them at all.
