Having a wonderful 2011 !

It's been a busy year sitting in the window looking at the cars going by; sleeping on the couch, bed, or recliner; managing how the housework is done; and chasing off Tippy when I want to be loved or sleep with my best friend (my owner).

Outside Viewpoint

I recently learned how to look out the front picture window like my sister, Tippy. I plop myself across the table and halfway jump twice from the table to get into the window. Tippy and I fight for position sometimes, but we both can agree to look out at the same time sometimes.

Canine Tooth

I lost one of my canine teeth over the weekend. The vet put me on antibiotics just to be safe. We'll be keeping the tooth as a keepsake since it cannot be replaced.

My daddy loves me anyway.

My daddy is sick

I am sleeping with my daddy since he was sick today. He loves both Tippy and me, so we need to make sure he gets better soon.

Happy birthday to Tippy and me. I was born about this time in 2001. After I was weaned (at a short four weeks!), my first mommy and daddy took me home. I lived with them for a year or two. Then, tragically, my original daddy was killed in a traffic accident. I was then adopted by her grandmother and moved to my current residence. Loved being in indoor/outdoor cat. Ran around the neighborhood and ruled it -- especially beating up the neighbor cats. When my new owner could not care for me -- and sold her house at the same time -- I was adopted by my present owner. He became my best friend and new 'daddy'.

I actually have lived at my current residence than the owner has. :) He had me neutered and made me an indoor cat. We have shared our good times and our bad times. At our worst, Tippy came into our lives and brightened our days. We love each other!

We did later find out how sick I was when the vet talked to us about my first visit with my new daddy. I'm fine now -- got a clean bill of health at our yearly vet appointment. We keep the FIV in check with regular visits and physical examinations.

Oh how I still love chicken, poultry, and all types of meat. Tippy prefers mice however!

I missed my daddy / Happy Thanksgiving!

My daddy returned from the UK in early October, and since he's been back, I can't stay off his lap. I want to spend every minute with my best friend.

I wasn't feeling good yesterday, and he nursed me back to health by loving me. Those furballs are hard to digest, and I'm feeling fine now.
