Likes:
She likes hot sunny weather, she's always out sunning herself in it.

Pet-Peeves:
Smudge does not like noise [it gets very noisy there],and she does not like not being able to get back in the building.

Favorite Toy:
Smudge doesn't really have a favourite toy,she prefers soft rubs, and a knee to curl up on

Favorite Nap Spot:
Her favourite nap spot is on her slaves' bed or chair unless the slave is in them,if that happens, she wanders around looking for a kind human knee to take over..

Favorite Food:
Smudges favourite food is whiskas [think it's the steam cooked, fishy one],she will not eat anything else

Skills:
Smudges' special skill would be getting into the house through the windows-it takes a lot of skill to balance on such thin window sils and get through small gaps in the window.

Dwells:
indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
Am not the slave of Smudge, but she lives with a resident downstairs, who doesn't have much understanding of cats or the internet so am putting Smudge on catster for her.

Bio:
Smudge is an elderly lady, but is very energetic-a lot more than some kittens, she runs up fences and dives down, she hardly ever stops, and after a recent health scare she has just been given the all clear by the vet. Her only favourite things in life she asks for are soft, quiet attention, whiskers food and sleep but unfortunately she gets very little attention.

Something unbelievable happened today,Smudge was not euthanised! She was not took to the vets because the manager has done the sensible thing of getting an advocate in learning disability services to go with them so that any decision making is fair and cat hating staff are not going to be able to have Smudge euthanised even if the vet says medication can work, just because they cannot be bothered with her.

A big victory for Smudge as at least she will now be looked at fairly, and having seen her today for the first time in ages due to none of the residents being in downstairs,am would say she isn't as 'almost dead' as those staff are saying, she's alert and loving attention-she couldn't get enough head rubs off am and kept coming back for more-she is severely thin though, hardly any muscle mass.
Am wondering if she is still not ready to go,whether something like liquivite will help her, will wait and see.

Ode to a tortie-white princess, too good for her humans

It won't be long now [tomorrow/tuesday morning] when this elderly, well travelled but beautiful tortie and white princess is given the final gift in life, the final farewell.

neglected and never having experienced a peaceful, calm and comfortable life, treated like crap-never again should they have a cat here unless it's upstairs [which won't happen as the cruel humans who run this home say no].

to be suffering through kidney failiure,to be seen as a burden on everyone because she has been pooing and weeing in the building as they never gave her a litter tray and always forgot to let her out or forgot to let her in-to hear the staff say 'right, thats it she's definitely getting put down tomorrow, dont care what the vet says' to such a gentle and loving cat just because they found a puddle of diorreah near the door is disgusting, sick.

to be left unfed and unwatered everytime staff who didn't like cats were on shift downstairs, neglected by such lazy and selfish scum who couldn't care less that Smudge was crying for food, drink or to be let out to the toilet.

to have her health needs neglected, and not get taken to the vets in enough time for when her kidney failiure could have been helped more,
they couldn't care less that Smudge was alive and felt pain and has got more intelligence than the lot of them put together.

How pathetic is it that they refused to let the most caring and cat worshipping resident have a cat on the grounds of what they say 'a resident not liking cats' when have got video evidence of said resident treating GFB and other cats like his baby, and they let a woman who treats Smudge roughly and doesn't bother with her apart from when she wants to have a rare stroke-never looking after it,and allowing completely incompetent cat hating support staff to care for Smudge?

What is wrong with the world when they can put a cat in the care of a bunch of uncaring cruel humans who do not deserve the profound friendship of a cat?

Truly hope, that tomorrow has no stress or pain for Smudge, that the vets treat her with more kindness than she's ever got,and also that Blackie will be there at rainbow bridge to look after her when her time comes to pass over.
Freed from suffering, running free again, snoozing in the sun, catching birds, chasing toms, and eating all her favourite foods again with no bad carers insight.
Run free Smudge, and don't look back!
