Arrival Story:
She came to our vet to be medically cared for till she was availaible for adoption. "Dad" was remodeling the vets office and we fell in love with her with in minuites. We made application for her that day. Then we got the good news/bad news. The good news was our application was approved, the bad news was that there was a siamese cat reported missing and there was a waiting list for siamese cats. Needless to say we were heart broken. Fast forward 5 days. Mom gets a call from the local shelter that we would be her adoptive pawrents. The family that reported the cat missing did not show up to see her AND all those that were on the waiting list did not return the phone calls to come and see her. So she became our meezer.

My dear furriend Little Bit tagged me in the Thanksgiving thankful tag game.
I am going to tag a few special furriends but maybe not 5 like the tag says.
I'm listing five things I'm thankful for, and then tagging five of my friends to do the same.

1. I'm thankful that my dad rescued me from the "joint".

2. I'm thankful that I have a mom that loves me and taught me to be a free spirit kitty again.

3. I'm thankful that I will never have to worry where my next meal is coming from. (borrowed that one from LB, being a fellow pound kitty)

4. I'm thankful that even when I'm naughty Mom & Dad love me, and give me gentle dicipline.

5. I am so happy and thankful for my boyfurriend Rosco and his furamily.

It has taken me a year to fall in love with my mom. (I was abused by a woman before I was adopted)
She has always given me love, affection, dicipline, grooming and lots of food. I have started repaying her love with mutual grooming. Mom sits in her big comfy chair, with her magic blanket. It gets toasty warm....Mmmmmm
I have started getting on the back of the chair and grooming moms hair and giving her head face rubs. I have allowed her to become my alpha human and I'm ok with this. I have a special love for my dad, he rescued me after all, but mom has given me all my kitty/meezer skills back over this year. I love my mom!


My sisfur is cool!
