Arrival Story:
It was the night of the worst storm I had ever seen. Trees were being shaken to the ground. Small children were being thrown about in the wind like plastic bags. The lightning struck and the thunder rolled with such ferocity as to rend the timbers holding up the house. I was watching it all from the meager shelter of the porch, when a lightning bolt smote the street before me and created such a whirlwind flash of debris and noise as to open a portal from another dimension. Out of the smoke and carnage came Max, unscathed. He walked up beside me on the porch and I opened the door and he went in. I knew better than the challenge the will of a power higher than myself.
Bio:
Don't let the zebra blankie fool you, this cat is brutal. Max has but one mark from his battles, a scratch adorning his right ear. The cat who dealt him that blow must have been a force to be reckoned with indeed. It frightens me when I think about it. One day I may hear the tale.
