The new kitten, Lulu (what a stupid name), has discovered how to go upstairs and downstairs! Worse, she moves so much quieter than I do that she can sneak up on me and scare me! We even have to share catnip and a litterbox! UGH! I tolerate it as best as I can, but today my biggest sister combed me. That did not help my mood any. I mean, I'm glad that she's home and all, what with her leaving piles of laundry for me to sleep on and buying bath mats for me to sleep on, but sometimes she's too bossy. Never lets me dig around in her closet, pestering me with the comb, closing toilet lids so I can't sniff in the bowl ... arg. Oh well, the weather is getting nicer so I can go out and kill more mice and leave their bodies as prizes for Mom.

The family has a new addition--an orange kitten! The ghost of Sarge has come back to haunt me! I am not happy to have this intruder in my house but I suppose if I could deal with the big, bossy Sarge I can deal with the little kitten, who seems anything but bossy. I liked being the only-cat but mom says we have to give the kitten a home just like they gave me one....whatever!

Wow, it was so stressful. First there were 4 giant scary men in our house taking all of the furniture away, then we were transported in my human sister's car for a 20 minute drive. I was relieved to see we were not at the vet, but even more scared because we were at a new house. I meowed all night the first night and did not make my humans happy, but after about 3 days I was pretty sure that this was just our new home and everything was going to be okay. Plus, I have 5 new acres of yard to explore, and there is a stray cat and a neighbor cat, who looks a lot like me. Maybe we are related! AND, we have 2 sets of stairs at this house, which are really fun.
