   Leave a treat for Sinba

Nicknames:
Sinba the Bengal Tiger, FISTIK (pistachio), Pisi, Hopkin (Green) Frog, Sinba Bebek, Snail, Serseri, AYICIK (Little Bear).

Quick Bio:
-mixed breed-cat rescue

Likes:
play fetch, play with food, play hide & seek, scratch the carpet and couch, discover the hallways of the apartment building, and play, play, play...

Pet-Peeves:
1) - water; she doesn't hate it, but nor does she like it. Although she figured out how to drink water from the tab. 2) - being disturbed or picked up when she's deeply asleep. 3) - going for a walk outside on a leash, although she's very curious about it

Favorite Toy:
bungee jumping (furry) mouse, metallic paper balls, Zumba-her stuffed orange mouse (see first picture), almond in its shell, cables - YAY!!

Favorite Nap Spot:
on the craddle of her scratching post's top level; and anywhere soft, especially the fleece blanket and pillows, and mommy's and daddy's lap

Favorite Food:
dry food for kittens with chicken & rice flavour; she loves the occasional treat of canned food with tuna and salmon

Skills:
unshameful seduction by rolling on carpets, emotional exploitation by crying incredibly loud when she wants something until she gets it

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
We saw her ad for adoption on www.petfinder.com and instantly fell in love with her. When we visited the purebred rescue she was happily discovering her surroundings along with her two sisters, yet she was the liveliest, most curious and most playful; and we couldn't leave without taking her with us.

Bio:
She settled in pretty quickly in her new home where she's the princess and gets spoiled rotten. She's extremely active and playful, and can be very demanding and attention-seeking, especially if she's being ignored or left alone for several hours. She hates having to sleep alone at night as she's not allowed to the bedroom. So, we decided it would be best if we got her a little brother, Mocha, to keep her company. Please also pay a visit to Mocha's page and leave him a treat; he's very ill these days and needs extra attention and TLC. He would be so happy to receive your well wishes and prayers.

Hello everyone,

I'm new around here and I thought I'd introduce myself, since you will be hearing from me often from now on. My name is SINBA; I was born on 25th June 2004 and I'm a brown spotted female Bengal cross with a beautiful leopard print which rather disappeared when I entered my fuzzies (hope they'll be back soon) . It turns out, my breed originated by crossing an Asian Leopard Cat with a domestic cat, which gives me this strong resemblance to my beautiful wild ancestor and a purely domestic and loveable temperament.

I am very self-assured, confident, outgoing, friendly and extremely intelligent. I eat and drink well, I have very good litter box habits, although I like to chew on the corners of my litter box, and I don't know why but mom says it's not ok, but I do it anyways. I'm in good health, very happy and well settled in my new home, and I don't miss my sisters that much anymore. There are times when I coo and chirp when I look for playmates, and when I'm excited, I tremble and twitch my tail; and believe me, I do get VERY playful - I love to bounce about, roll around, and I'm all over the place. I'm very entertaining and curious - I follow mom and dad around and assist them in any interesting activity such as answering the door, housekeeping or looking in a closet. I especially enjoy climbing on the couch and bed, and like to run down the curtains at night time; that's when I'm hyper-active and very fun-to-watch, but mom usually gets sleepy and wants me to go to sleep.

For much of the time I'm a total softy with a heart of gold. I flop over and roll over my back in ecstasy, go up to mom & dad and nuzzle their faces, purring wildly, then finally curl up into a happy little ball and fall fast asleep. I crave attention and spend many happy hours resting piled up on top of them purring. I wake mommy in the night, rubbing my head against her and paddling happily on the covers with my paws, then sleep silently with her till morning.

Apparently, I'll be a large, sleek and very muscular cat and an astounding athlete once I grow up; I can't wait to climb doors and cupboards, leap to huge heights, and especially land on mom or dad's shoulder in a single leap from a couple of meters away; I heard Bengals do that a lot! I was also told that we are more 'dog-like' because we play fetch and are 'supposedly' not afraid of water; I haven't tried it yet, but I might wanna try out having a swishing action with water, and maybe even get into a running shower sometime, we'll see... so far, I prefer to keep a safety distance from running water.

So that's it for now... I just wanted to present myself to you and let you know that I was adopted about two months ago and quickly became a dynamic, interactive, affectionate and trustworthy companion to mom and dad.

I'm looking forward to update you with my progress really soon... until then, take care... I know, mom & dad will take good care of me - they are already doing a great job and giving me much love and affection!

YOWWWLLL...
