Arrival Story:
We wanted to get a friend for Maggie our first cat. We looked for several months and did not find a cat that we thought would be a good fit. Luckily on October 16th we found Nomar at the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter. We fell in love with him. He is so cute and personable. He loves being with humans and other cats. He was the perfect addition to our little family!
Bio:
Nomar likes getting into things he shouldn't. The first night we had him he took a nosedive into my spaghetti. He tracked tomato sauce all over the house! What a way to make an impression :)
Nomar is named after Nomar Garciappara (formerly of the Boston Red Sox).

Two nights in a row now...TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW!!!!! I have been shut into the downstairs bathroom! I don't understand why I can't run around and play at night time. Usually my Mommy's door is closed, so I want to get in. I put my paws under the door and bang on it. That isn't annoying right? After she lets me in I get to play with Maggie, who is usually asleep behind Mommy's head. I chase her everywhere and usually end up running all over Mommy. But why does this land me in the downstairs bathroom? Although it isn't soooo bad...when Mommy came to let me out today I was fast asleep in the sink :).

Well, I think if my Mommy hadn't been so sleepy she would have been really startled by my new favorite place to rest. It was around 5am this morning and my Mommy was getting ready. She was walking around with her eyes closed...poor thing, she was so sleepy. She went into the bathroom and was starting the shower, when she turned around and saw me. Resting in the sink! She looked somewhat surprised, but I know I didn't startle her too bad because she kissed me on the head after that. I love the sink. It is the exact right size for my big belly :).

Mommy was going to take a bath so she turned on the water. I got all excited cause I think running water is the most amazing thing ever ever. So I jumped in the tub to lick up the water and mommy did the meanest thing! She turned on the shower so I got soaked! So I jumped out of there and tried shaking off all the water. I was all cold! Poor little me.
