Arrival Story:
Our other Shepherd had passed and the house just seemed so empty, but I wasn't ready to get another dog just yet. I came home from work one day and my husband told me to open up the back door. There was this little ball of fluff just sitting outside the door. He was just six weeks old and was one of the sweetest puppies I ever met. Even when he was mature that sweet disposition never changed. He never met anyone that he didn't love. He was a great deterent for trespassers, being a one hundred ten pound dog, but he was just a marshmellow inside. In his older years we decided to get him a companion to keep him company, and that's when we adopted Bonnie. Sherlock welcomed her into his home and heart and they were good buddies up until he died. Casey was another one of his "buds". Here was this little three pound kitten and Sherlock and Casey became the best of friends. Sherlock was so gentle with Casey and they would play for hours ( since basically they grew up together). When Sherlock passed, Casey would look all over the house for him, it was so sad. It took a few weeks before he finally gave up. We think of him often because he was such a big part of our lives, he was the first pet my husband and I got together and meant so much to both of us. He is greatly missed. Richard, my husband was so deeply affected by his death. It was so sudden and he was a constant companion/friend who gave such pleasure and friendship it is a painful loss that words cannot express.
Bio:
Sherlock was a majestic animal, he was and is one of the prettiest Shepherds I've ever seen. In July of 2006 he started acting funny. He had a tumor on his chest that we monitored. He started acting sluggish and not eating (he gulped his food, he didn't chew). I made an appointment with the veterinary I worked for at the time to get a x-ray. He told us the cancer had spread to his bones and gave him eight months. He died at home in five days (August 2, 2006). We were devastated, he was and is our baby. The only consulation was that he didn't suffer and we didn't have to put him down. He is and always will be in our thoughts and heart. We miss you so much sweet angel Sherlock.

I've been tagged by my furfriend Sammy and I'm suppose to tell seven things about myself.
1. I always gulped my food I never chewed.
2. I always had my suckie in my mouth (24/7)
3. I was never in a dog fight, to much of a lover!
4. I loved the snow and would play outside for hours.
5. I loved my furparents and especially my furbrother Casey and my home very, very much.
6. My tail was always wagging, I was a happy go-lucky kind of guy.
