Arrival Story:
My nephew moved and couldn't keep her and her sister, so one Sat. morning my brother called me and wanted to know if I wanted a couple of kitten's. She likes to drink water from the bathtub faucet. She is fixed. She is a wonderful big kitty, but she likes to put her big paw down on any cat she want's to. She doesn't to often anymore. Eddy is mellowing with age. She was born in Goshen,IN. Edwina and Emily came to us in 2000. That year we lost three cat's, one to sickness( she was 16 yr's) and Two to old age(both boy's were 17 yrs.) My husband would call me during the day and ask how our twin's were( Eddy and Emily).

Eddy went to The Rainbow Bridge on July 26, 2013. She lived from 7/12/2000 - 7/26/2013. 13 years and 2 week's. She was a beautiful kitty and beautiful soul. Thank you Eddy for loving me and always being there for me no matter what. I know we will be together again. Thank you God for bringing Edwina(Eddy) into my life. Forever ♥

Christmas is a necessity. There has to be at least one day of the year to remind us that we're here for something else besides ourselves. ~Eric Sevareid

Sunday the 24th our big dog brother Walker became an Angel pup :B He hadn't been eating much and we thought maybe it was the hot weather. He did have a vet appointment for Monday. He died at home by the end of the bed on the floor. Mommy and dad and the other 3 doggies were with him. Nelly~Bell~May stood in the doorway. Alexandria would not leave him and laid head to head with him. He was buried in the back yard. Dad, Mommy, Uncle Albert, Aunt Dessie, husis Tracy and the 3 grandson's and the doggies were at his service. He is a sweet Angel now.

Mommy has been copying all our diaries and wanted to share some again. But this first verse is mommy's most favorite of all. We send it in rosettes when a fur has went to Rainbow Bridge. It is also on my Angel Wing picture that a good pup friend named Bailey made for me and mommy. It is at the top of my page. She looks at my last picture taken and says it to me.
Angels descending, bring from above,

An Old Irish Blessing
March 15th 2011 11:34 am
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand

HERE IN THIS HOUSE : An animal's prayer
August 14th 2010 2:50 pm

Our friend Chance ( a cat ) posted this at Tabbies With Tudes. It's so beautiful. Thank you Chance.
HERE IN THIS HOUSE: An animal's prayer

Here in this house...
I will never know the loneliness that I hear in the cries of the other animals 'out there.'
I can sleep soundly, assured that when I wake my world will not have changed.
I will never know hunger, or the fear of not knowing if I will eat.
I will not shiver in the cold, or grow weary from the heat, but rather, I will nap in the sun's warmth, and play in the rain's coolness, and be allowed to smell all that can reach my nose.
My fur will shine and never be dirty or matted.

Here in this house...
There will be an effort to communicate with me on my level.
I will be talked to, and, even if I don't understand, I can enjoy the warmth of the words spoken to me in kindness.
I will be given a name so that I may know who I am among many.
My name will be used in love and joy, and I will relish the sound of it!

Here in this house...
I will never be a substitute for anything I am not.
I will never be used to improve peoples' image of themselves.
I will be loved because I am who I am, not someone's idea of who I should be.

I will never suffer for someone's anger, impatience, or stupidity.
I will be taught all the things I need to know to be loved by all. I will be praised for my successes, instead of punished too harshly for my mistakes.
If I do not learn my lessons well, they will look to my teacher for blame.

Here in this house...
I can trust arms that hold, hands that touch...
knowing that, no matter what they do, they do it for the good of me.
If I am injured or ill, I will be doctored.
If I am scared, I will be calmed.
If I am sad, I will be cheered.

Here in this house...
No matter what I look like, I will be considered beautiful and known to be of value.
I will never be cast out because I am too old, too ill, too unruly, or not cute enough.
I will not be left behind because my humans moved - I will move with them.
If a new human baby joins my family, it will not 'replace' me,
but instead will be one more human for me to love, and to love me.
I will not be treated as disposable.
My life is a responsibility, and not an afterthought.
I will learn that humans can almost, sometimes, be as kind and as fair as other animals.

Here in this house...
I was BROUGHT, because I was WANTED!
I will BELONG!
I will be home - FOREVER!

Live Like A Dog!
September 10th 2010 5:43 am

Our furiend DeeDee posted this in a group Sept. 10th 2010 and it's very worth repeating.
So live like a dog:
Live simply.
Love generously.
Care deeply.
Speak kindly.
Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
Take naps.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass..
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

Mommy, Carol,I will miss you all very much. I have had many tear's and cry at night with my doggies.I hold on to them and the cats tight. I have so many great memories of this place. It gave me a place to go to that was just for me and my doggies and cat's. I have made many friend's that other wise I never would have. For that I am thankful.
If there is anyone who wants my email or home addy. Pmail Angel Eddy. I am on Face Book and I hope there will be a place we can all be together at. Thank you all for the fun and love, you and all your furs are deep in my heart ♥ Forever ♥
