Birthday: March 21st 2008 Coloration: Fawn-Cream Likes: Reed loves belly rubs Pet-Peeves: 3 year old human neighbor Max Favorite Toy: A crumpled up piece of paper Favorite Nap Spot: A sunny spot on the back of the couch Favorite Food: Temptations cat treats Skills: Climbing Arrival Story: Reed was taken from a home of a cat collector who had 40+ cats on his property. Reed was 3-4 weeks old when he was brought to the shelter with his mother Blossom and sister Lilac. Reed and Lilac were too young to be tested for feline aids/leukemia and too young to be vaccinated so I brought them home with me. Blossom was a very young mother and didn't know how to take care of her babies. They were eating solid food by 3 weeks old. Blossom has since been spayed and returned to the shelter where she is available for adoption. Lilac was adopted minutes after being tested. After living in a home Reed did not do well at the shelter so I brought him back home. I would love for Reed to be adopted without having to spend more time at the shelter. The shelter is very crowded right now and it would be easy for Reed to be overlooked by adopters. He is brave and outgoing in my home, but gets depressed at the shelter and stops eating. Reed is a small boy and looks younger than his age. He will be neutered on 8/21. I have 7 big cats in my house and Reed gets along fine with all of them. He is playful, but not crazy or annoying with the old guys. He loves my other foster kitten Mr. Scrumptious and would do best in a home with another cat. Bio: Reed aka Brownie will be adopted soon. His new name is Gizmo. Lives Remaining: 9 of 9 Forums Motto: Purr first, ask questions later I've Been On Catster Since:
