It's an odd story...
In high school I had to put my cat to sleep. I was so upset, so my grandma told me that when I was ready, she wanted to buy me a new cat. I didn't want one in college since I lived in a sorority house. In the meantime, my grandma wasn't doing so well. She made my mom the executor of her estate and made my mom promise that even if my grandma died, that my mom would set aside some money to buy me a cat when I was ready.
Once I graduated, got a job and my own apartment, it was time. I knew I wanted a Persian, so I found a breeder and went to see her cats. Lucy had a brother and a sister and I couldn't decide which one I wanted - they were all so cute! Finally, I realized that Lucy kept planting herself on top of me over and over so I knew she wanted to be my baby. I took her home and named her after my grandma.

Lucy was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure 6 weeks ago. She went from 13 pounds to 6 pounds practically overnight. When she was first diagnosed, she only had 7% kidney function and I didn't think she'd be with me much longer. Luckily I live near a specialist, and with his help, her kidney function is now up to 19% and she's gaining weight every day. Most importantly, she's acting like herself and is feeling great and making me laugh and fall in love with her every time I see her.

Because of my CRF, my mom had to get rid of our Littermaid litter box. She stocked up on waste containers a few months ago when they were on sale, and has two unopened boxes. She wanted me to offer them for sale - both boxes for $25! That's $16 less than you'd pay in a store. Please contact her if interested.
