I am supposed to be outside catching mice and rats for the barn but I do like to visit in the house sometimes. Mom lets me in while she eats breakfast nearly every morning then I go back outside to work, like she does. I think she has to leave in the car to find her mice since I do such a good job in this area.
I also come in sometimes through the night but not very often because I always have to meow Mom awake to go back outside. This is usually at two in the morning. She is kinda grumpy then. I have no idea why. She should be happy that I woke her at such a perfect time of night.
On weekends if I meow at the door I get to come in for a couple hours or until I want out. This morning when I came in there were boxes and boxes and boxes everywhere. Green stuff was strung out in the bird room. New things were EVERYWHERE. Good grief, I was inside just a couple of days ago. Who got all this out? I was very worried and I am still crouching and looking with big eyes by the door.

I was a feral cat, in Mom's opinion. Some people had a stray cat in their backyard, near some woods and became somewhat friendly with the mother cat. They fed her but didn't really pet her much or spend much time with her. There are three boys and the mom didn't want an inside cat and thought the cat would go away, even though they were feeding her. No animal control or anything else was done. Wonder of wonders the mother cat had kittens. The boys were instructed not to pet them so they had no human contact. Well, the humans suddenly thought they might have a cat population problem as these kittens grew up and had kittens of their own.
My Mom had just one barn cat and needed another, in her opinion. She liked cats to have some other kitty to snuggle with in the hay. Back to me. She said that she would take two of the kittens if the people could catch them. Eventually the people caught me and my brother but at separate times. Each of us were dropped off at my Mom's barn. My brother stayed but I ran away instantly.
I ran to the neighbors who live behind Mom. The neighbors grown son, who lives there, bought canned food for me and tamed me. He wasn't allowed to bring me in because of allergies of the humans. I really didn't become that tame but he could pet me. He has chickens and he saw me stalking them so named me "Sam the Sniper." Eventually he found out I was a girl so I became Sammy Sue, the Sniper.
Later on he found out that I had run away from Mom's barn and carried me back. Mom was surprised that I just didn't walk on back but I stayed.
