indoors Arrival Story: Rosie came to the shelter with her sister Nisha, and another kitten who unfortunately didn't make it very long. Rosie and Nisha were about 1 week old when I got them and they were my first orphans. I could not bear to part with either one and felt they should stay together so I kept them both. Rosie and I bonded so closely from the beginning. She always needed a little more attention and extra love...Nisha was more independent and stronger than Rosie. Bio: Rosie had a very short life. She was ill for many months of her short little life. We never did find out exactly what was wrong with her but she had bad tummy troubles. She was not getting the nutrients that she needed in her food and she couldn't control her bowel movements a lot of the time. She started to look really well around Nov-Dec of 2003 and I was really hopeful that she would grow up to be a healthy kitty.
She started to get worse again around March and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with her...we tested her for so many things! Rosie passed away on Mothers day May 9, 2004. Her little body had finally had enough. She never got over 2 pounds even though she was 10 months old. She had always been a tiny little thing. I miss my little girl so much, and my lap is so empty without her.
I only added pictures of her up until March 2004, after that she went downhill. I've Been On Catster Since:
