Arrival Story:
We were so blessed with our dear Josie, but he was very lonely and needed a friend to romp with. So when our love Josie was 2 we brought home to him a beautiful friend, Sulley (named for the "Monster" on Monsters Inc..) (Not that our baby is a monster!!) but we loved the name. We were given Sulley from our Doctor, whos cat had just had kittens. He was just 6 weeks when we brought him home to Josie. Josie loved him from moment one! Sulley....not so much! But within one week, they were best buds and were so close up until the last moment when we had to bring Josie to his place at the Rainbow Bridge.

Bio:
Our precious little Sulley is the light in our life. He is pure love, very particular in his wants and needs. He loves us, but wants Kobi to just back off a bit! He loves Kobi on his terms, but I am hopeful that they may be friends someday. We will keep you posted! Sulley does miss his Josie boy so very much and his grieving is very apparent. I did not know how deep the grieving process was for pets.

Sulley meets new friend today

He's not Josie

My Mommy & Daddy brought me home a "friend", that's what they call him, but I think he bothers me. I want Josie back, so I am just waiting because I don't believe he is gone forever. Josie was good to me and wouldn't jump out from nowhere and scare me like this "friend" does. Kobi, as they call him, hangs around me and wants me to play with him, but I am a mature 4 year old and he plays rough. So, I hiss at him and tell him to relax, and he does. I don't know why, but he still likes me, maybe with some time I will allow him to be near me.

We love our new Kobi

Sulley isn't as completely fond of our Kobi as we are, but he is warming up! Kobi loves Sulley, but.....you know how the introduction goes! Kobi is a second Josie, he has so many traits as Josie did, but Sulley seems to be a one love kind of cat. We will continue to help our boy to accept Kobi as his friend, no hurry...hopefully we will have a lifetime!
So much love to both of our boys, Sulley & Kobi!

Coby comes home

Friday, August 1st at 8:00 pm central time we had to let our 6 year young boy, Josie, enter the gates of heaven. He had been suffering for two months with a disease that we only got the diagnosis for the day before we had to let him go. He had Feline Infectious Peritonitis FIP, a very fatal disease with no cures right now. Sulley has never known life without Josie, so last week we adopted a little boy from the local Humane Society, and today we get to pick him up. We are truly hoping that Sulley accepts Coby as well as Josie accepted Sulley when we brought him home. Josie was 2 when we gave Sulley to him as a kitten, 6 weeks old. So we will be leaving soon to go pick up our new addition. Sulley is not as easy going as Josie was, so I am a bit concerned! I miss my Josie so much, it hurts so much to lose one of your children, and these boys truly are our children.
