Quick Bio:
-mixed breed-cat rescue

He enjoys waking his Human up in the middle of the night, "just because he wants some loving".

Having his ears or paws touched

Favorite Toy:
His ferret-sister, Rogue

Favorite Nap Spot:
On his Human's stomach

Favorite Food:

Pippin is very verbal and will often draw his Human's attention to whichever his need is at the time

Arrival Story:
I found Pippin's Mama by the road one day, and only picked her up because she was friendly and on a spot that she was likely to get killed if I'd left her. She was, of course, pregnant and delivered three beautiful kittens on April 24, 2002. I feel in love with Pippin and chose to keep him, even though I was not planning on keeping any of them - I already had two dogs and one ferret at the time.

When Pippin was a very small kitten, my male ferret - Gambit - used to sneak into his Mama's nest and *steal* Pippin from her. This might have been how my attention was drawn to him at first, because Gambit never took any of his siblings. Not surprisingly, when I got my female ferret, on Christmas 2003, Pippin quickly developed a liking for her. He used to even lay down and let her cuddle with him when she was still a kit. They still play together *all the time* and it is very clear that he adores her.

Pippin here. Cat, this site is cool! Now I get the chance to show off my good looks and impress all the lil' ladies out there - because, you know, being the only feline in the family can get pretty lonesome. I'm a very lovable cat and I've gotten along with any type of creature I've come across - Humans, ferrets, dogs - although I haven't seen another cat since I parted from my mother and siblings. I sleep, then eat, then boss my Human around, then sleep some more. My days are very busy and exciting that way. I also enjoy chasing my ferret-siblings around and playing with them; we get along just fine and our Human is always bragging about how well behaved we are - and how smart we are when we're not well behaved. Well, our Human is always bragging about us, period. But who could blame anyone for wanting to show me off? I mean, have you seen my picture?

Anyways, I have a tuna can with my name on it, so I'll catch y'all later.
