In heaven..

Mommy, Grandma and my auntie laid me to rest today, in a beautiful spot in the garden where I lay among the trees as they reach for the heavens above me. I sleep now happily, with my harry potter doll and my leather collar which lays at the end of my tail in the box Grandma gently laid me in. Mommy mourns for me and cries often and I am sad I cannot be there to lick her tears and give her comfort. I know my sister Oracle will try her best to help mommy through this tough time and I hope she will help her heal. If she doesn't I will have words with her in her dreams. I want mommy to know that I loved her, and I still love her and that I'm okay. I'm not in any pain and the abscess that hurt me when I was alive is gone and I am healthy and young again and with grandpa.

We will see each other again mommy and I will bite you just the same and love you always.

Your darling Serabe'

I am in a better place now where I have all of the toys to play with and all of the food to eat. I know you miss me and I miss you, remember me how I was, not how I was at the end when my time came. Tell Oracle I miss her, but maybe not as much, Meow.

Your beloved Serabe

The Rainbow Bridge inspired by a Norse legend

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill, Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still. Where the friends of man and woman do run, When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next, Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest. On this golden land, they wait and they play, Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day. No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness, For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness. Their limbs are restored, their health renewed, Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued. They romp through the grass, without even a care, Until one day they start, and sniff at the air. All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back, Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack. For just at that instant, their eyes have met; Together again, both person and pet. So they run to each other, these friends from long past, The time of their parting is over at last. The sadness they felt while they were apart, Has turned into joy once more in each heart. They embrace with a love that will last forever, And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

My beautiful Serabe'. So many years toegther and your loyality and your love has never been questioned. All those years on the boat, you stayed with me and then through another difficult transition you stayed with me. I don't know what I would do without you, your moodyness, your love, your love of talking. *hugs you*

A new cat has invaded my surroundings, goes by the name of Oracle or as my auntie Diana (who it's rumored to have owned this invading creature before) calls her Merci. Mummy has asked me to be nice and show her the ropes, I figure Oracle can find her own ropes, teeheemeow...

Not so sure about her though, she's very forward, I guess she is just trying to be friendly, not the nature that a cat is supposed to have I can assure you. She's not boat cat material like I am that's for sure and I've caught her walking and puring all over my Mum already. Time will tell...
