Goodbye My Good Friends!

We said goodbye to our friend yesterday
the same as we had to his wife
it makes us cry to let them go
though we know we should celebrate life

We saw some times that were happy and good
and we shared some days that were bad
we said good bye to a boy yesterday
who was as good a friend as we’ve had

Mimi’s a girl who we all love so much
and she always knew that was so
she was pretty and clever and loving and tough
just like a girl that I know

Her boy was Orange and he loved her so much
she knew he couldn’t leave her behind
So she went ahead for to show him the way
and she was never far from his mind

Saying goodbye is a hard thing to do
when there is so much love in your life
we said goodbye to our good friend Minute
and to Mimi his beautiful wife
