Kitty had 1 yesterday, Daddy thinks it died either during birth or right after
Leave A Comment | 24 people already have Purr purr purr purr purr purr purr purr......................... We are adding ours along side of yours, Fluffy & Alex.... PURRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS PURRRRRSSSSSSSSS SSSSSS............. Blizz, it does sound like there were just too many babies in there for her system to handle. Maybe now with the others out of her body, she will be able to expel the remaining babies. There's the possibility they may be oxygen-starved, but with all the purrs directed their way, maybe not. We are thinking and purring for the safe delivery of the remaining kits. Purrring hard for Mommy and babies. Birthing be hard. I lost one of my babies at birth. Concern for momma kitty. If the other little ones have already died, she could get an infection and get sick. If yer dad can take her temperature he should check and make sure she isn't already sick. Normal temp for us is 101. Purrs from all of us. How very sad. If she won't let you take a temp the way the vet does, you can try in her ear. It is not as accurate as the other way, but it may be the only way you can get one if she is uncomfortable at the other end. Blizz, your Daddy is a good man. Purrs, purrs, purrs Purring for mama kitty and babies. Purring and purring for moma and the babies good to hear it sounds like momma is doing good. Another way to check her temp us under her arm the vet told mom that worked when Boo was sick the reading might be a little lower than the real temp but it will let you know if it is high or not. (He doesn't have meezer purrs but his are still pretty good) Sending lotsa purrs. More praying for the little Mama! poor little sweetie, we hope with all our hearts she is ok. PPPUURRSSSS Henry No changes Kitty seems ok, kitten seems healthy Sounds like maybe there be no more babies. Is her belly tender to the touch? Is she nursing her baby? If she will let you touch her, with a flat hand press very gentle-like on her abdomen and see if you feel any lumps (not counting her mammary glands that will probably have milk in them). If she be tender or if you feel lumps I'd check in with the vet. If the babies have died inside her, they need to be removed. pics of kitty and here 1 kitten are up I can't find the pictures Blizzard. shows as bottom of pg 3 in plus photobook dats where i's sees em now moved em to page 1 can see on mys page Maybe that WAS all the babies, and the vet was getting a false reading on the other heartbeats. That would be a great relief! And it does seem like that would have been an unusually large litter if there'd been any more. Let's all purr she's finished with her labors. What a beautiful little family! I am purring that all remains well. Oh, I didn't realize you were having kits in the family again! Congratulations! Sorry for the few loses, though.
