This is an alert for all east coast kitties from Virginia to Maine.
Leave A Comment | 28 people already have Oh dears, my parents are going to be visiting the East Coast, I sure hopes that thing is over by the time they fly in. Worried River purrs. River don't worry, New Hampshire isn't going to get much of it. I guarantee it. It's too far south from us, we might get some wind but that's it. It's going to New Jersey. Yous guys bees lucky then...Monster, Kibbles and family. Mayhem, Tink and Snow, Skylar's fam, HazelMazie, Ruffy all in path oh, ands us too Oh dears, oh dears, oh dears again. Please stay safe everyone. Lots and lots of River purrs to go around. Purring everyone is safe and sound! Hey Blizzard....we are getting ready for that nasty Sandy!!!! Mommy had better remember me and my stomach...if not...MOL...I'll eat her...MOL...MOL!!! We seem to have a weather tunnel that passes though mommy's back yard so we always seem to get the worst of what might be out there. You all are not far from us so you probably get hit the same way! Mommy and me will be thinking of you and yours until this thing passes.....stay dry and safe!!!! >^..^< Mayhem and her mommy Mary .We are purring and purrringggg for you all, please be safe and take care. Please let us know how you are when you can cause we all worry about all of our friends....God be with all of you and all of our angels hugs We're in New Jersey, and our humans remember (not fondly) last year's Hurricane Irene. Trees fell down in our yard, our basement flooded and roads were closed for many days. Because of that, though, we now have a couple of Coleman lanterns and a camp stove and lots of propane for them, and bottled water and, not least, a whole month's worth of cat food and litter. The humans are hoping the weather reports are over-hyped. We are hoping that everyone will take precautions as if the reports are dead accurate. I'm done with Sandy now. She already came here (Palm Bay, FL). No big deal for us, but truly you guys up north had better look out. She is going to hook up with a couple of other things up there and give you another "Perfect Storm". I'm hoping it won't happen, but it sure is looking like it will. Keep your eyes and ears on your local weather channels. Take care! We don't live in sandy's path, but we do have family that do, in DC and in Stewartstown, PA. We know many others who also live in east coast areas...scary stuff! Meowmy had to giggle a bit, the CEO where she works is named Sandy, but she is furry pleasant and fun, not like this nasty storm, UGH! All we are expected to have here is some wind, and rain, bt so far no really bad stuff. Purring and pawyering fur all who may be in this storm's line of fire. We will all be thinking of you who are in the storm's path. (((Hugs and purrs all around))) I will be sprinkling angel dust down on you all! Love from Tigger and Family Purrs and purrs everyone is ok Sending purrs to everyone up there! UNKLE BLIZZARD, TAKE CARE OF MY MAMA PANDA & DADDY & ALLA KITTIES!!! PLEASE LET US KNOWS YOUSE OKAY WHEN IS OVER? I HOPE YOU HEARED ME. LUFF YER WASHINGTON NEPHEW! Paws crossed that everyfur is safe!! We are getting ready for the storm here in Westfield Ma. Momcat is getting all my food, cuppycakes and thongs ready incase we need to leave. Hopefully we wont get hit too hard. Love, Tate Sending purrs that everyone in Sandy's path is safe. Sandy sounds like one nasty piece of works. Thinking of all of you that are in the path of this storm. Hope you all stay safe. I hear there is plently of room under Blizz's mouse pouches to hide. Thanks, Catfather! The weather reports have been almost all about Sandy all week, even up here in New England. We are glad we live near the top of a hill and hope the basement stays dry. Lots of food and water on hand (and kitty litter too). We can stay with Auntie Bean and Uncle Deeda if we have to but the problem is getting there because of downed trees and power lines in the roads. The power lines here are not buried they way they are in some parts of the country. So we are hoping Sandy does go out to sea and that the fisherman all come in to safe harbor. Thanks fur the warning! We are purrety safe where we are in PA. You never know with the way the weather has been changing though. We even have tornadoes here. Scary weather is scary Purrs from us all Tim and Family Yes, that Sandy sounds nasty. We purr that all or friends will be safe and prepared. We are worried about some urban flooding (storm drains and wet basements), but mostly concerned about the wind. We will try to check in when we can. Mom is worried because Rusty was supposed to stay with the vet all day on Monday(and be on fluids), then she was supposed to get him and take him back on Tuesday AM for tests. She doesn't want to leave him there during the storm. An hour or two ago we started seeing the wind pick up. Now we are in the center of N.C. so that gives you an idea of whats going on. We aren't getting any rain but we didn't expect to. All of you please take care of yourselves and make sure you have your first aid kits, candles, can foods, water and blankies within arms reach. We live in NJ and are in it's path too. We're prepared but still scared. Purring for everyone on the East Coast in Sandy's path! Purring that you all stay safe and Sandy is milder than predicted! xoxo Kaci We are hanging tight here at the Junction. Mom wants dad home....and she isn't planning on going to work tomorrow. She thinks that her stupid agency is crazy for being open at all. It is dangerous to be out on the streets with a hurricane. Mom and Dad will stay with us, of course, they would not go anywhere without us. We are now however confined to the living room area because there is a new foster here. Thinking of everyone in the storm's path. I hope everyfur and human is okay. Love, Tigger OH!! Purrin' fur Ur furmilies Blizz~!
