Arrival Story:
When I was a student, I met a woman in the school cafeteria who was looking for homes for like 20 kittens at once - all three of her cats were un-spayed and gave birth at about the same time (In a two bedroom apartment in Kent!!!). So although I did not get Punkin' from the pound, I consider her a rescue because she was living under some pretty undesirable conditions. We also got her brother from that same house, Schmooey, who is no longer with us.

Bio:
Punkin was a scaredy cat type cat for the first couple years we had her. Then we had to kennel her for a while when we had guests with a cat allergy. Since then she's been quite the lover. She chirps instead of meowing. She is patient with her dog brother, and was very attached to her cat brother, but really doesn't care for her cat sister (originally bougth as a "kitten" for her) or her dog sister. Punkin' gets very excited when we eat out of bowls because she thinks there might be cereal milk. She paces and licks her lips. And yawns becasue she's so anxious. For some reason, Punkin' has super pokey feet - so when she walks in your lap it's like her little paws are knives! Not the claws, the foot itself. Sometimes we call her "little punkin pokey foot"
