 Quick Bio:
 Coloration: Gray and White

Likes: following me around the house, sleeping (especially on people and in the sink), and eating junk food

Pet-Peeves: when my dog Angel used to bark at him (She's sitting on the couch with Kitty in the last picture. ), and having his tummy rubbed when he's trying to relax

Favorite Toy: either those little shiny crinkle balls or various people's feet

Favorite Nap Spot: my lap when I'm at the computer

Favorite Food: pretty much anything... any kind of cat food and treats, as well as dog food and treats, and pretty much anything he can get his paws on (He's a junk food cat.)

Skills: he actually comes when he's called, not something I've known many cats to do. He also stands on his hind legs as a trick for his treats, and is a master contortionist, though I think most cats are.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: I was camping and he showed up at the campsite (wearing a collar). He kept curling up on everyone's laps around the campfire, and eventually we decided to feed him something (He was quite scrawny.). He hung around the whole night while we were sleeping, and the next day I managed to read his tag. We called the two phone numbers it listed a few times, and left messages, but there was never any answer. Kitty hung around for another day, and the next day the man who owned the land we were camping on took the cat in his truck to the address listed on the tag. There was no one home, so he talked to the neighbours, who said that the couple who lived there had two cats, and Kitty was one of them. Apparently, the man was in the army reserve and had been called up for active duty six months earlier. The woman went to live with her mother shortly thereafter, and simply put both the cats outside and left them. So, we took the cat home and after a couple of weeks and much persuading, my parents allowed me to keep him. He didn't have a name listed on his tag, so I decided to simply call him "Kitty," as he responded to it.

Bio: The birth month and year I have given are guesses. The veterinarian told us Kitty was two or three years old when we first took him in for his checkup, so this is a reasonable estimate. Kitty once got a fishhook in his front leg-pit (?) skin, which we had to remove. He also once lost a fight with a painted turtle, but strangely, can hold his own and win a spat with our considerably larger dog. Kitty also sits down and meows when he wants to sit on a piece of furniture with someone, until he's told "You can come up!"
