Christmas

Stockings are up and mine has something in it. I can't wait to sink my teeth into it. I hope it is stuffed. I hope I don't have to share with Kisses. She has her own stocking so things are looking up.
Mom and Dad have been busy lately, but I am keeping them in line. It is a lot of hard work! Everything around the house is in order... except that Dog. Mom and Dad keep letting him in the house. They even leave him alone in the house when they are gone!! I do my best to try to alert them to how evil he is, but they're not buying it. I shall continue my puffing up efforts. For now I think I've got him scared, but one of these days when my back is turned, I am sure he'll be after my tail.

Daddy?

Something is wrong. Mommy and Daddy have been acting very weird the past few weeks... and this morning Mommy is crying a lot. She and Daddy went on a drive this morning... they took all of Daddy's bags from work, those camouflage colored ones. They shouldn't have been up so early. I tried to tell them to go back to sleep, but they didn't listen.
Mommy came back from their drive but Daddy didn't. Mommy keeps saying the word "deployment" but I don't know what that is. Maybe Daddy is on vacation? Mommy must be sad that she couldn't go with. I hope he'll be back soon.
