I haven't seen Torbie Sue in almost two months. I think she used to live in one of the vacant houses on the street behind my house.
Still, not a day goes by without thinking of this beautiful cat. I look out the back door and expect to see her on the porch waiting for a hand out.
I miss her terribly.

I sure hope she wasn't left in the vacant house. Have you been able to walk over there and peek in a window? You know some people move and leave their pets behind. I sure wouldn't think that would happen to beautiful Torbie Sue!
One of the houses had an "open house" about three weeks ago. The other one had a car in the driveway a week ago. The for sale sign on the house that had open house is still posted. The other one isn't (I believe it already sold). The houses are close together and they have a "neighborhood watch", and it would be difficult to peek in the window. Anyway, Torbie Sue disappeared for two months before from Sept. to November. Then she started showing up again on the warmer days in November, Dec. , Feb. and March. All this is speculation about one of the vacant houses being her former home. More speculation: she may be a non-spayed kitty and is nursing kittens and kept inside during this time in another home and is still around. She's a mystery and has been seen in the neighborhood for several years on our back porch. Thank you for your kind concerns.
