Arrival Story:
2/05/05 - The Lady Boo has been adopted! Thanks to the Nice Folks at Save-A-Life in Long Beach, CA, the Lady Black Cat has a new home with a family that loves her and can take care of her. No longer will she be tormented by Angus and The Butt Canon! Although I miss her terribly, I know that she is better off with a new family. Everyone - Support your local No-Kill Shelters! ********************************** ******************** NEW INFORMATION! Beware of vet techs that don't know what they are doing! I was told that this cat was a BOY! And SHE is not! Another vet set me straight when I took her in for a consult. Humph! We sometimes call her "David Bowie" (you know, from the song, "Rebel, Rebel" which has the lines "not sure if she's a boy or a girl") but this is most definitely a girl. Which explains a lot: why she's soft and sweet, why her "meow" is so high and girly, and why my male cats just hate her. They're boys! And therefore big dorks! Someone needs to adopt this little lovebug. ********************************** ************************ I found this cat living under our house when I went down to do some rewiring. He was starving and very thin. I thought perhaps he was feral or else part wild. I started to feed him, then took him to the vet to test for FELV and FIV. That's when we found out that he was not a "big kitten" but was probably 4 or 5 years old. He is negative for all cat diseases, and has all his shots. His front paws are declawed. He is so loving and sweet, I can't imagine where his people are! Are they somewhere in Orange County, completely frantic to find this guy? Or did they let him out with no collar for some dastardly reason? I would like to keep this cat forever, but unfortunately, my two older cats are very mean to him, so he needs to be adopted by people that will love him and take care of him. Or we need to find his original owners!

Bio:
LBC is smart - he can jump on the microwave, drink from the kitchen faucet, and attack crickets. He will wait patiently for me to get out of the showers, and will sleep next to me all night long with his head on a pillow like a person! He likes to sit on your lap and knead your boobs, while bumping your nose with his head. He is one of the sweetest cats I have ever met - this must be why my cats don't like him!
