We had a mouse in the house and decided to get a cat. We went to the shelter and wanted to meet the cats there. None of the other cats got along great with our daughter.
Before we walked out, my husband saw Bella, just laying there in her crate. He asked to meet that cat. I took her out, and right away she started purring and kneading with her little paws. My husband was holding my daughter, and standing next to me. So the cat looked at baby, and stretched herself until she got close to baby's face and started kneading her little paws on baby's chest and was purring really loud. That was it. She came home with us a week later (after her surgery).
We changed her name from Rhonda to Bella. Because to us, she's a beauty of a cat.
