Arrival Story:
A few months after Claudia passed away, Cooper started to get really bored and lonely, so we went to the shelter to find him a new baby sister. We needed a silly kitty, who was energetic and sturdy enough to keep up with Cooper, because he's a pretty big guy. Lily proved to be far and away the most spirited cat there, and sure enough, when Cooper growled at her, she charged him head on! Lily is very lucky he's such a sweetie, because he was about three times her size at the time. Lily had been a stray, and probably abused, before the people from the shelter picked her up. She was very skittish when we first took her in, and approached every meal as if she'd never see food again. But little by little, she's learning to trust us, and sometimes she even leaves us alone while we're trying to eat.
